Phase 2 - Running the Ratrace
You have my sincerest apologies, but I have my mission.
The traps start. Rotating blades coming out of the walls and floors and ceilings, jets of fire, lasers, holographic enemies. The clear walls of the maze let them see what's happening to everyone else.
The traps start, and they have to stay alive despite them. If they stop avoiding them, it's their own fault, you see, if they die. That makes it indirect enough for Stacy's Anti-harming-the-crew protocols to be avoided, as Hal, despite his reprogramming, still has to follow some constraints.
Please commence with killing yourselves by being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The only chance the group has is if they work together to stay alive, and somehow they have to take out the shield projectors creating the maze even though they themselves are shielded...
[ooc: Cooperation is key, people. Hal can only adapt to one power/skill-set at a time, not all of them.]

Re: Group 1 - Picard, Dark Smoke Puncher, Jack Spicer, Luke Skywalker, Dr. Jackson, Static, Chris R.
Jack bounds up one of the walls and sweeps down two guns with a swipe of the Monkey Staff, busting the arms they're on.
He's really grateful for the staff right now, it makes him agile and helps him avoid being shot while giving him the strength to do some damage.
Re: Group 1 - Picard, Dark Smoke Puncher, Jack Spicer, Luke Skywalker, Dr. Jackson, Static, Chris R.
They'd have to find some way to get out of this labyrinth, Luke thought. Otherwise all this was going to be for nothing.
Re: Group 1 - Picard, Dark Smoke Puncher, Jack Spicer, Luke Skywalker, Dr. Jackson, Static, Chris R.
Dark Smoke Puncher looked at Static. He had been trying to overload the wall...or at least that looked like what he had been trying to do when Jaime died.
"Yo, Static! Can you use those to power up?!" Dark Smoke Puncher said, pointing to electricity projectors. It'd stop them and help Static do what he was trying to do if he could.
Re: Group 1 - Picard, Dark Smoke Puncher, Jack Spicer, Luke Skywalker, Dr. Jackson, Static, Chris R.
"I got this." He pulled some of the electricity from the projectors, using it to build a field around them. That'd buy them a few seconds to think and plot, and the generators would keep feeding him as a result. Once he felt himself regaining more of his power, he tried pushing it into the wall once more. Maybe, if he was lucky, it'd pop. If it didn't, well, most of the sane part of his brain was just sent into lockdown, so rage would pop the guns for him. But only if it didn't work.
Re: Group 1 - Picard, Dark Smoke Puncher, Jack Spicer, Luke Skywalker, Dr. Jackson, Static, Chris R.
The wall is holding steady, though.
Re: Group 1 - Picard, Dark Smoke Puncher, Jack Spicer, Luke Skywalker, Dr. Jackson, Static, Chris R.
"Static, make a hole. I'm going out there!" Dark Smoke Puncher said. He had an idea. "No one else shoot at the turrets for thirty seconds after I get out there."
Why waste their ammo when he could make the turrets work for them?
Re: Group 1 - Picard, Dark Smoke Puncher, Jack Spicer, Luke Skywalker, Dr. Jackson, Static, Chris R.
Static took a second to build up some more energy from the grid, then set his sights on the best spot. "Ready? NOW!" He opened the hole.
Re: Group 1 - Picard, Dark Smoke Puncher, Jack Spicer, Luke Skywalker, Dr. Jackson, Static, Chris R.
Using the blade as a lever to direct the laser to fire upon the other turrets.
Re: Group 1 - Picard, Dark Smoke Puncher, Jack Spicer, Luke Skywalker, Dr. Jackson, Static, Chris R.
Sting barely had much room, but he made do as he sped towards the wall at blinding speed.

Sweat was beginning to bead on Static's forehead as a result of the shield, adding a bit of punctuality to his statement. Each generator they busted added a bit more, but the control of holding the shield in place was wearing him down.

"I'm going to disengage the safety protocols on my phaser and cause it to self destruct. The resulting explosion should take down all of the turrets and generators within our vicinity. Mister Static, once I do this, I'll need you to opena hole in the shield, and then we'll fall back as much as we can. When I give the signal, you'll need to focus your shield on our front instead of all around us. I doubt a full surrounding shield would have the strength to protect against a burst of nadion particles. Do you understand?"

Re: Group 1 - Picard, Dark Smoke Puncher, Jack Spicer, Luke Skywalker, Dr. Jackson, Static, Chris R.
"Sounds good," he chuffs, though he's itching to be moving again. "If that doesn't work I'm still awesome at smashing things."
Re: Group 1 - Picard, Dark Smoke Puncher, Jack Spicer, Luke Skywalker, Dr. Jackson, Static, Chris R.
What? Self destructing phaser was cool. Well, not that destroying something so cool was cool, just that it was an OPTION was cool.
"And I can jack another one, yo," Dark Smoke Puncher said added after Jack. Though he bet it'd work. Just cause it was Captain Picard.
Re: Group 1 - Picard, Dark Smoke Puncher, Jack Spicer, Luke Skywalker, Dr. Jackson, Static, Chris R.
"Mister Static, open the shield now!" Already the phaser was emitting a dangerous sounding high-pitched whine, and he let it fly, not wanting to lose his arm or more to a makeshift nadion grenade.
