After the most recent pod-pop had been completed, Stacy began encouraging the crew towards the Obs Deck. They would be most effective if they were familiar with each other, and as the Jaime Reyes Incident had proved, leaving them to meet whenever they happened to cross paths was not effective.

Anyone who stepped into the Hub would be transported to the Obs Deck, no matter where they had intended to go. Those who had been exploring the City were verbally herded towards the Hub, although the energy tentacles did not make an appearance.

The Obs Deck hadn't changed very much since they'd last been there. The creepy sculpture was still present, as were the fleshy couches. However, the couches were arranged in a more obvious circle this time.

Come and meet the new -- and in some cases, weirder -- members of your crew.

"Maybe. We don't know. Most are thinking for some kind of army. There are some strange people here, with superpowers, like right out of the comic books. Aliens. Soldiers, law enforcement. People with the training or the abilities--or both--to be useful in a war."

Mixed and guarded expression on his face at the superpowers mention, and then soldiers and law enforcement. Possesses one, has experience as being one, and familiar with law. Two or maybe three reasons why he got picked.

"An army? Against what kind of force? Or we supposed to be an invasive one?"

"Your guess is as good as anyone else's. Stacy is short on answers and long on giving us the run-around. So far, our guess at an army is still just a guess."

She held out her hand. "I'm Cybil Bennet, by the way. Brahm's PD. For some reason, Stacy has me listed as acting captain, so I've been trying to bring about some order until someone more capable comes along."

"Yeah, seems like most things are classified. She's worse than the damn Company."

Nathan brought his own hand out, and shook hers in a firm grip that suggested he was no stranger to doing several handshakes for public events.

"Nathan Petrelli, uh, well, once elected to Congress. Never got a chance to seat." More so because he stepped down from the position, but it could be thought that he was brought here before then.

"Maybe she's got a reason, you just law enforcement, or did you ever serve too?"

A politician? Weird choice. Then again, if they were recruited for a war, you did need diplomats. And liars.

"Just law enforcement," Cybil said. "But I've fought some shit that'd make you believe there is no God."

Okay, politician and soldier. Now this was making sense. Once she found out the other thing, it'd make even more sense.

"Army, navy, or air force?"
