Meet-n-Greet

After being released from stasis, having the slime removed from their bodies and clothed in the creepy, pulsing leaf-suit that everyone wore, and being taken to the Weapons & Possessions lockers to collect their belongings, the new arrivals would find themselves standing in the Observation Deck. Round windows lined the fleshy walls, revealing the bright display of lights that was inter-dimensional travel. They would also discover that there were people--members of the command staff and crew that had woken earlier--waiting for them.

"Cassandra Lang. Stature. Scott's baby girl." She grinned brightly and nodded. "I remember you. Kinda hard to forget a girl who can grow to the size of a mountain."

Cassie grinned. "Oh good, I don't think I could stand someone else not knowing me." There was Nate and... wasn't there someone else she'd known on here who didn't know her? Oh well, it wasn't important. "We sometimes get pulled from different universes or different times."

"I've dealt with different universes before. Though it's kinda fuzzy." She shook her head. "But I'm glad you're here. I've seen a few of the Young Avengers hanging about, and heard that there were a few Avengers. I think we should just have an Avengers get together. A big old party, so we can all catch up."

"That'd be great. I'm so glad you're here." Dignity was keeping her from hugging Carol.

Carol smiled brightly and knew from the sound of the other people hanging around, that there was a good chance little Cassie had been here for a while. Which is probably why Carol moved forward and wrapped the girl in a hug. She was Scott's daughter, and Scott was an Avenger. That made Cassie family. Young Avenger and current Avenger status aside.
