Meet-n-Greet
After being released from stasis, having the slime removed from their bodies and clothed in the creepy, pulsing leaf-suit that everyone wore, and being taken to the Weapons & Possessions lockers to collect their belongings, the new arrivals would find themselves standing in the Observation Deck. Round windows lined the fleshy walls, revealing the bright display of lights that was inter-dimensional travel. They would also discover that there were people--members of the command staff and crew that had woken earlier--waiting for them.
Hot Topic's cool.. LP can do without...
"Well, I think Claire was the one who told everyone. She did end up getting out of there. With her brother. Chris..." Billy wasn't swooning over the name. Nope, not at all.
MCR? 8D~~~ <3 Gerard Way is such a visionary!
"Not that this situation is any better than that," he said. Then he looked cocky all of a sudden, holding up one of his machine guns. "Not like I can't handle it or anything, though. Monsters, or aliens, or whatever. I'm ready for anything."
LOL
"Guns... blah." He really didn't like guns. They didn't make sense to him, but maybe that was just because he didn't like the mindless violence. Outside video games anyways.
WHEN I WAS - A YOUNG BOY
He motioned to his guns. "You don't like guns? They're..." So cool. Totally badass. The coolest. "I wish I didn't have to use them, but these things saved my ass more than a few times on that stupid crazy island," he said. "I'd rather have them than be helpless, you know?"
no subject
"I don't use guns, but I'm not helpless. Then again, I haven't seen the horrors you have. Maybe if I had, I'd use them."
no subject
Of course Steve wasn't trying to show off. "You just gotta know what you're dealing with."

"It's all about crowd control, really," he said, as though he were now an expert. "If you can keep them away from you, then they're not too hard to put down... The worst thing about zombies is their numbers." And their tendency to actually be your father. But he wasn't about to talk about that to Billy.
no subject
"You sound like an expert. But lets hope that we don't have to fight any zombies here."
no subject
"In fact, I've had enough of the creepy movie sets to last me for the rest of my life," he added a moment later. "Though I guess it could always be worse, huh?"
no subject
"True, it could be a hundred times worse. Though at the moment I can't really think of how. But I'm sure it could."
no subject
He stood up, stretching and looking around the room for any other sign of familiar faces. He absolutely wasn't hoping his parents would be here. No way. A cursory glance showed nobody he knew, so he turned back to Billy.
"So uh. Do you mind if I. Stick with you for now?" he said awkwardly. "Not like I can't go by myself, but-- we might need to watch out for stuff on this creepy ass ship, right?"
no subject
no subject
"Nah," he said, shaking his head. "I don't know who there would be for me to find anyway." Well, he did, but with the way his luck was going he didn't dare hope that she'd be here. He wouldn't wish a crappy place like this on her anyway.
"Let's just get out of here."
no subject
"Yeah, I'm sure if there's anyone here who knew you, they'd find you sooner or later. It's not like we're going somewhere."
