Meet-n-Greet

After being released from stasis, having the slime removed from their bodies and clothed in the creepy, pulsing leaf-suit that everyone wore, and being taken to the Weapons & Possessions lockers to collect their belongings, the new arrivals would find themselves standing in the Observation Deck. Round windows lined the fleshy walls, revealing the bright display of lights that was inter-dimensional travel. They would also discover that there were people--members of the command staff and crew that had woken earlier--waiting for them.

Flying casual thurr?

Clipping his lightsaber back onto his utility belt and shifting his shoulders under the plantsuit again (he had the distinct idea it'd take him a few days to get used to the thing), it took Luke a moment before he responded.

"Hello," he replied. "Did you just arrive, too?"

Srsly.

"No," Geoff replied, trying not to eye the lightsaber with too much curiosity, "I'm afraid not." He glanced around, grimacing slightly. "In fact, I may actually have started to become accustomed to this place."

"So you've been here a while?" Luke asked curiously. He'd been wondering how best to approach the others who had arrived before them, learn a little more about their situation.

"I'm not sure how long, but there have been a few new waves of people since I woke up." Mostly young, privileged people. "They say we are an army, being amassed."

"That would make sense," Luke murmured. Who better to bring to an army than a Jedi, too? "There's a war going on, then--that old man mentioned something about universe-hopping beings--"

"And time traversing," Geoff contributes, nodding. "I've seen many strange things, but apparently a large part of that is due to the time displacement." His voice may be dry, but that's because he's still getting used to feeling babysat.
