Meet and Greet
The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers.
Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicomms and comm rings. They are also told they must read information about their current situation and a survival guide with their new omnicomm. New crewmates might see a tall dragonish guy with wings (but don't call him that), a large afro attached to a smaller girl, and talking ponies among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.
There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in. But thankfully this time, there's a system that was set up to aid the new crew members with a few more experienced ones.
[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies. Big brother/sister, there will be a thread for you as well!]

She held Sally's hand cheerfully and she could feel even more pleasurable emotions from just being around the active fox. Sure Ahri had been feeding a little, and that alone causes pleasure, but this time, the simple joy of Ahri being pretty happy would also make others around her happier.
"I'd love to explore with you and you can take over different places in the city to take shelter. You don't have to technically live in the crew quarters and the majority of the people don't. They prefer setting out into the City and claiming a den for themselves that's more comfortable! Some people have even found dwellings from their own world!"
Ahri herself had found and made a private and secret den since she was very cautious by nature when it came to her den.

"Would they have a small hut, do you think? I don't need much space," she said, gesturing at herself. Well...obviously. She was fairly small.

Sometimes they had a mind of their own you know!

She gently swatted at Ahri's tails. "Are you bored already?"
no subject
Ahri giggles playfully at the swatting, "Maaaaybe~ I'm a pretty active person, not to say your company hasn't be oh so delightful but you know how it is for energetic types, always looking for something to do! Don't mind the tails though, they're harmless~ for the most part of course!" she mused.

The woman didn't appear to be built for super speed, but that could be deceiving. Tails slipped around them in the village so fast!
"So they're weapons too?"
no subject
Her tails fanned around them both in a beautiful display as she spoke. "No, not weapons, but they're a sign of how powerful my kin can be. The more tails you have, the stronger you are~"
She closed the distance and spoke in Sally's ear in a soft and tender whisper. "It's very rare for one to reach the maximum number of tails~ Which is nine"
no subject
When she finished, she looked surprised. "So you're one of the most powerful there are."
She wondered what Tails' two tails meant, then.

"Sometimes it's best to keep your potential hidden from others~ You never know when someone's looking to claim you, or some such."

"Mages might capture us for our magic, or have us killed for extremely rare reagents used for very powerful spells. Lords might hunt us for our beauty, wanting to make us theirs and have the best and most beautiful trophies by their sides." Ahri rolled her eyes and laughed a little before smiling.
"Explorers might look to lock us up in an exhibition as relics and myths... I for one hate the feeling of being locked up. It drains us so..." Ahri shrugged.
"There's lots of ways to explain what I meant by claiming one such as me. I'm sure you can imagine them my dear~"

"I'll be damned if I let anyone capture me after all these years. Would be embarrassing and I don't know if I could handle it to be quite honest~"
no subject
She tucked her omnicom inside a vest pocket, hopping off the couch she'd claimed. "Anyway, I'd better start building my base. Thank you, Ahri."
no subject
"I do hope we can meet again sometime~"
