[dated to After the Bees but before GLADoS date experiment] [wide open once she's been seated]
Jinx hadn't been to this cafe yet, she was aware of it as much as anything else on the ship but so far it was one of the few places she hadn't explored first hand. But Diana was a perfect excuse to see if it was worth the price of admission (free).
She had spent a fair amount of time in cafe's and diners back on her own world in her own universe. It was a peaceful escape from her own team mates where she could have some coffee or a soda, a slice of pie and just people watch. Sometimes she would draw, sometimes she would listen to music and marvel at how easy it was for a girl with pink hair and eyes to blend into the back round of other peoples lives.
It was a necessity as well. Jinx's powers as wonderful and helpful as they were for most of her life seemed to have one major flaw. Any time she tried to cook something more complicated then a bowl of cereal or a sandwich something went horribly wrong. She'd been thrown out of her Home Ec. Class at Hive Academy because of one particularly messy incident involving an automatic mixer and the instructors ponytail.
So making other people cook for her was much easier and more satisfying. A life of petty crime afforded her more then enough to live off the culinary skills of other people.
Back in the moment Jinx scanned the entrance way to see if she should seat herself, or wait to be seated.

Instead there came a loud cawing noise and something ruffled and gangly half glided, half fell onto one of the tables close by.
Provisions may have grown his feathers but he was still just entering his fledging stage, his eyes remained a bright blue and his colouring was still a more dark grey colour around his neck rather than the sleek black and deep blue that was emerging on his wings.
Still unable to fly he mainly hopped and jumped everywhere on his lanky legs, flapping his wings for extra lift and experimenting with gliding off perches. For the most part, he still relied upon Diana and Jinx to cart him around, resulting in matching talon marks on the twos shoulders.
Despite being very much Diana’s bird in his constant need for her presence (and attention if he can get it), he’s always incredibly pleased to see Jinx and beg for her attention instead, shown by him hopping his way to the table closest to her and flapping his wings excitably, cawing at her.
His noise brought Diana over. She was wearing the ‘work outfit’ she’d teased Jinx with the idea of seeing. Spotting Jinx, she smirked, twisting the usual false greeting smile into something more wicked.
“Well, table for one, is it? Eating alone today?”
