[dated to After the Bees but before GLADoS date experiment] [wide open once she's been seated]
Jinx hadn't been to this cafe yet, she was aware of it as much as anything else on the ship but so far it was one of the few places she hadn't explored first hand. But Diana was a perfect excuse to see if it was worth the price of admission (free).
She had spent a fair amount of time in cafe's and diners back on her own world in her own universe. It was a peaceful escape from her own team mates where she could have some coffee or a soda, a slice of pie and just people watch. Sometimes she would draw, sometimes she would listen to music and marvel at how easy it was for a girl with pink hair and eyes to blend into the back round of other peoples lives.
It was a necessity as well. Jinx's powers as wonderful and helpful as they were for most of her life seemed to have one major flaw. Any time she tried to cook something more complicated then a bowl of cereal or a sandwich something went horribly wrong. She'd been thrown out of her Home Ec. Class at Hive Academy because of one particularly messy incident involving an automatic mixer and the instructors ponytail.
So making other people cook for her was much easier and more satisfying. A life of petty crime afforded her more then enough to live off the culinary skills of other people.
Back in the moment Jinx scanned the entrance way to see if she should seat herself, or wait to be seated.

"Do you still have your Seibzehn? I mean here on Stacy?" Seemed like more then a few heroes were left without their tools of choice around the ship.

"Still lucky you. I've had to scavenge all the tools I have from planet visits and places around the ship. Then again I was never a giant fighting machine kinda girl."
no subject
"As for tools though, I don't actually have any REPAIR tools or anything I've been kind of scavenging those. That and things to get real food. You'd think they'd actually know what was in the food they give us here."

Spoken like a student who got an A in her "Criminal sociology and trends of modern society" class.

"What the hell kind of experiment requires THAT!" For all the times she had considered her world crappy, she never thought it was even close to surprise cannibalism crappy.

"Just look at it this way. The Ohm already trashed it once, and if we manage to set things back to how they were then you'll get to Trash it a second time."
