Magic and Mystical: Interviews
Nothing felt quite so good as to have a project on its way. If this one features slightly less graphical and arbitrary annihilation of all sense and reason to the universe so that his will and desires may stand paramount in all creation, it's no less important or relevant for all that.
Aibghalien has set aside a few of what appear to be practice areas for interviews and assessments, hoping these are large enough to use for any demonstrations necessary. If not, the courtyard outside allows plenty of space for particularly pyrotechnical displays.
[OOC: Those willing to help interview may start their own threads for people to comment on (but Abby would like to get your own lists!) If your character would have come, but you aren't able to thread it out for any reason, just put the information in the Handwaved thread for later compilation.]

Re: Aibghalien
He tugged on his jumper and entered a rather large space, searching for an authority figure to speak with. With some luck, he found one. "Hello. Are you placing the magical examinations?"
no subject
Of course, Aibghalien had a quite impressive robe, but then again, it had come with him, in large part due to its magical nature.

it would give her something to do.She walked up the stairs without much trouble and stood in the middle of the training room silently, after giving him a small bow, waiting for his instructions.
no subject
That was an opening for her to introduce herself.

He might have seemed a bit on edge when he first walked in, but it only took him a minute to whistle at the room, eyes settling on the wizard himself. "Well, if this place doesn't bring back my childhood memories~"

Pushing the sensation down, she stepped inside. "Hello? Aibghalien?"

Then for good measure, he summoned a quartet of dancing lights with a gesture and a spoken word, bidding them light the door to his room.

"I guess that would be your demonstration. Or part of it, at least."

Negi - Doing Interviews
So there's a slightly sullen Negi sitting there in a big chair, with a clipboard. "Next?"
no subject
His appearance hadn't caused Clef too many problems on the ship yet. Perhaps people here paid more attention to how one carried oneself than how one looked, or perhaps he had just been running into particularly tolerant people. Either way, he didn't want to push his luck. Besides, he was glad to see a child among the interviewers. It said a lot about the boy's skill and his nerve that he was even here, even if he didn't look too happy about it.
"I guess that's me," he said as he stepped up to Negi, smiling to try and counter the other's sullen expression a little.
He wasn't really sure what this interview process was going to entail; Abby had mentioned something somewhere about a demonstration, so Clef had his staff ready but it occurred to him that he hadn't actually practiced any kind of magic since he had awoken from his pod. He was sure that his abilities wouldn't have atrophied in a few weeks' time, but who knows how long he was asleep before that? And then there was all that wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey interdimensional stuff in between. It suddenly occurred to Clef that he should have made sure that he could actually do magic before coming here, or else this would be a very short and humiliating interview.
Oh, well. Too late now.

He felt old. Like Evangeline Old and powerful too. Negi had a keen sense of runaway train level powers and he was pinging his meter like crazy. Still, to be that young made him feel a whole lot better. "Have a seat sir. We'll start the interview shortly."
"As you know we're trying to gather information so that no one's left out in the dark if we have a magically-based problem on our hands. A general idea of what you can and can't do on the extreme sides would be a nice starting point."

Looking down at the device, she verified that she was in the correct spot. Tilting her head back, she squinted as she studied what was in front of her. Aerith couldn't say she'd run into buildings like this before, and she straightened her shoulders, making her way in.
It isn't too long before she was able to find the area that interviews were being held in. A little unsure, she walked up the young boy who seemed to be interviewing people.
"Yes, I'm Aerith." She smiled at him, wondering what this interview would be like.

She had a very serene look to her. It was kind of nice to see someone who was so calm and pleasant looking. "Please have a seat. Before we begin is there anything you'd like to ask me?"

"In here," he said clearly from the training room, as he heard his name called.

"Greetings, I'm Sabrina. We have talked once on the omnicomms, but I believe you and others should know more of my particular abilities."
