Wizards of Waterly Place
In Happy Happy Fun World, there is a magical land of wonder and mystical mystery.
And also waterslides.
This is Wizards of Waterly Place, a magic-themed water park. And this place is actually magical--or at least the technology makes it seem that way. Waterslides cut off at certain places, causing the park goers to "magically" appear on another water slide elsewhere where they continue (thanks to teleportation), and wavepools shoot out sparkles into the air where the waves crash into each other. Sometimes tubes move around and change shape as the riders are still sliding through them, leading to an even more exciting ride.
This park is home to one of the tallest waterslides in the universe, "The Amazing," which needs actually gravity dampers to prevent people from dying when they hit the bottom, and is responsible for the greatest swimsuit wedgies in all of existence. There's also the "Rabbit in a Hat" Drop Slides where the park goers jump down through top hat shaped slides, the "Mystic River" lazy tube ride, and the "Aqua Kadabra" river raft ride, among others. And don't forget "Nimue's Pool," the massive wave pool that changes colors and occasionally has bubbles rising from the water. (Some are big enough to hold people and carry them into the air before popping a few feet over the surface and dropping them back in the water).
For those that didn't bring swimsuits, ones stamped all over with logos can be bought at a shop outside the entrance of this part of the park, along with t-shirts, towels, and flip flops. Lockers can be rented near the changing rooms. There are also souvenir "wands" that squirt water and bubbles at people along with wand holders that can be bought here and top hats with flowers on them that shoot water, among other souvenirs.

"Feeling better?"
no subject
"Y-y-yeah... l-lots better." she managed to say in her timid voice, inadvertently purring in turn at the very nice treatment from her friends.
This was totally worth the moment in an open area. Granted, she definitely couldn't have done this in a more crowded area of the place, so she was extremely grateful for her friend's and lover's choice in location.

"Glad to hear it," she said to Ronnae, looking, for the moment, glad she was able to put her bad feelings out of her head.
no subject
"Yeah. You deserve it, love," he whispered down to Ronnae, leaning close to shield her as he fixed her top.

Once she was sure nothing would be falling out, she sat up and grabbed for her hoodie almost immediately, putting it on and zipping it up slightly before turning to face her friends.
"Thanks a t-ton. That was amazing guy~" At this point however, she tilted her head at the strange feeling permeating around them. She wouldn't question it outright, it might just be her mind, but there was a bit of tension in the air.
no subject
"Glad you feel relaxed," she said, smiling. "Now for our treat!"
She would talk once they were more comfortable.
no subject
"Mmm..." Yes. He wanted the cake.
no subject
"It looks delightful. Thank you very much Kaya~"
no subject
She cut them each a piece of cake, and then brought out a custard treat to have as a side for the dessert meal. Even as she did so though, it looked as if whatever was troubling her was starting to show on her face.
"Guys? Can I ask you something?"
no subject
That smile faded when Kaya's voice sounded again, though. He immediately dropped his plate and came close to her side, ready to support her if necessary. "Anything, you know that. What is it?"
no subject
"Oh wow~ This is pretty darn good!"
At the sudden change in atmosphere however, she frowned a bit concerned and tilted her head. So her assessment of the odd air earlier was correct?
"What's wrong Kaya?"
no subject
"Guys, I know we've seen a lot since being on the ship, and I know I've helped take down some Ohm: heck, the last battle alone was a weighty one, with all these people dying and blood everywhere. So one more person dying, especially with me being a nurse should be something I'm used to. But I have to know something: if someone from your world, say, Lord Zedd Billy, came here and was killed, right before your eyes, would you care? Even after knowing what he's capable of and that he was evil?"
no subject
"Why do you ask, Kaya?" A little stall for time. He's really uneasy about the way his thoughts are going.

Ronnae was formal and to the point. It was something that had been part of her life since she was young and she was certain that every Azerothian youth went through the same.
There had always been death all around them and the constant, never ending wars.
no subject
"It was Ozai," Kaya said quietly. "The man that led the firebenders to do all the things that oppressed the other nations, from a long line of Firelord's. He's Zuko and Azula's father. And he came that one day all the people were allowed one day to see the person from our world. He went after Zuko and Hiccup, so me and Aang and Mai and Sokka fought him. Aang and I managed to subdue him...and then..."
Kaya sighed. "Mai killed him, right in front of us."
no subject
"Did she believe that he would break out again? I prefer subduing when possible. You only had to hold him for a day, but...maybe it was more personal with her. I don't know, you would know better."
no subject
"I can understand why she would do as such, it was the perfect opportunity. Why risk the chance at them causing more harm? Not everyone believes in redemption and it's something I've found myself questioning many times over. It's the same back home... While mama wouldn't think twice about eliminating an enemy so they don't cause more harm... Papa would give a chance at redemption even to the vilest of enemies..." She had seen it herself.
no subject
She sounded more than a little emotional. "I'm not an idealist, I know better than that and so does Nokosi when I asked him about this. But just when making one choice leads to one decision, so does this. If I can avoid death, I'll do that. This wasn't a choice we even got to make, and I can just bet things will get worse for us now."
no subject
He moved toward her, pulling her into a hug. "We'll find a way to keep you safe, okay?"
no subject
She'd be there for support, but she figured Billy would be a much better aid to Kaya's predicament as he was from a much more similar world it seemed.
no subject
And she looked down. "I'm scared at what I'm capable of. Mai did what I wouldn't do, not what I couldn't. Ozai was trapped and she killed him easily. And I just keep wondering: should it have been me?"
no subject
"Of course you're physically capable of it. You're powerful, and you strive to be a protector. Ronnie can do it too, and even I could. But what matters is your choice. You're afraid of losing control and making the choice to kill---sometimes I am too. I swore to a code that forbid using lethal force unless no other option was there."
But they had to be rational about the situation. He thought, and thought... "If Zedd had ever seriously threatened you while he was here, either of you, and I didn't have help with subduing him? I would've fought with lethal force, no matter how much I'd be tortured afterward. It's because I love you both so much. But I think the best we can do is recognize the alternatives we have and use them if they're' available. If not...well..."
no subject
"I can honestly say that it's hard for me to hold back sometimes during battle... It's been so ingrained in me that I just go by instinct."
no subject
And it went without saying that it involves shrugging off her whole "I'll never kill" policy.
no subject
He was starting to be overwhelmed by the whole thing.
