Meat n' Greet
The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.
Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. They are also told they must read information about their current situation and a survival guide with their new omnicom. New crew-mates might see a tall dragonish guy with wings (but don't call him that) and purple girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.
There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.
[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

"How do you do that? I've never seen a unicorn who can sew before." She had to be something special, he thought to himself.
"I'm Cedric. I can't believe I've never met a talking unicorn before, and then two in one day? Do you know the princess?"

"How'd you get my colour? I like it, but I'd make it a little darker. Like this," he grinned, carefully sliding the long wand from his sleeve. The pony was already magical, it wouldn't hurt to use magic in front of her. Just as long as she didn't go around telling everyone what was going on. When he was sure they weren't being watched closely, he flicked the wand.
"Multicorfors!" With a tap of the tip against his chest, the suit once again changed colour, maturing into a deeper yellow with dark lines.

"Ooo. You can do magic too! That is interesting. What's your specialty?" She gazed at the dark yellow and kept in mind of the shade that she could use for her other designs.
"The colour won't last long on the suit though. I have been trying to examine the fabric to alter its properties but it has been rather tricky so far."

"I don't know if I have a specialty. I've studied all kinds of magic, but charms are my favourites. They're simple, but effective."
He demonstrated again with a swish, flick, and muttered incantation that caused some spare debris between them to float upward for a few seconds. Then it shrunk into almost non-existence.
"Yours is working with clothing, then?"

"Yes, I specializing in clothing and interior designing if the need calls for it. I can manipulate almost every object but I prefer to stick to my craft. I share a clothes shop with another seamstress in the city too."

"I'd repay you somehow, of course. If there's anything around the shop I can help fix, I'll be there. But it's all right if you're too busy."
