Of malfunctioning portals, parks and dragons [Open]
Taking some time from other projects, Celena had once more brought down her Paired Gate device down to the park in an attempt to work on a number of issues of the operation of the device while in the Bleed. After all if a stable gate could be established, even for short periods of time, it could make for quick travel about the city and about the ship in general.
Thus in her usual draconic form she had set herself before the primary end of the gate device in the middle of a large clearing in the park, with the secondary portion of the device not a hundred feet away. After some time in pondering the problem she had decided to take a break from her work. Locking the device down she stretched herself out and padded away to wander the park for a short while before taking off to stretch her wings. Keeping her general flight path around the vicinity of the park itself.
[OOC: Feel free to run into her at any point, whether while she's working on the device, wandering the park or even flying around overhead!]

"Fair enough," Rachel muttered. Of course, she still thought morphing was gross, after all this time. Maybe not weird but one hundred percent not pleasant. But even while she replied easily, most of her attention was on morphing. She could feel herself shifting and growing as she spoke, the plantsuit working as perfect morphing clothes. Her skin turning grey and tougher-- not that unlike the elephant morph, at least as first-- while her bones and skin restructured to make the dragon form. And, knowing what she was becoming this time around, there was something way cool about it.
It wouldn't be long before she had taken the brand new form, new dragon eyes fluttering to take a close look at Celena across from her, a very similar form. It was a bit weird to be in her friend's head, more or less, but she could feel the raw power of the dragon morph in her. So yeah-- 'way cool' was pretty accurate.
((ooc: still need to sort icons to fit it in, so link for now. :) ))

As the transformation completed she switched her vision back to normal, watching as the markings formed over her morphed form, taking on a different configuration from Celena's own and yet different again to both Marco's and Cassie's in their morphs of her form. The feeling of power within her form would be both physical and literal, from the energies that flowed through Rachel's morphed form.
With a smile Celena slowly circled her friend's morphed form, observing the markings and looking for any sign of divergence from her own form, finding no difference at all, to be expected after all, she stopped before her once more, "What do you think?"
((OOC: That's fine! :) ))

< This is kind of awesome, > Rachel said, with a laugh in her 'voice'. Celena's form was pretty clearly capable of speech, but she defaulted to thought speech anyway, because that was normal and easy for morphs. Rather than figuring out how a dragon spoke.
On that note, she began to try and figure out other things-- stretching out the wings and the legs, getting a feel for the body. At least there were no insane, raging instincts to deal with.

After a short while Celena leveled out once more, now far above the city below, Rachel would truly be able to get a sense of the degree of her vision even from the height they glided at.

She let the advanced sight scan the city below, too, taking it in. < Okay yeah, vision is a bonus too. >

She knew well the capabilities of her form and sight, after all she did at often times watch the city and its comings and goings from the skies above. "It certainly proves itself useful," she commented with a chuckle, arching one wing up to perform an easy barrel roll over Rachel's form to level out on the other side.
(OOC: Sorry for the delay)

She watched Celena do the barrel roll above her, grinning her new dragon grin, before she swooped upwards, taking some more air. A dive seemed like fun-- as long as she didn't get close enough to break anything, in her new, larger form.
((ooc: You're fine! I've been lagging behind a lot myself sob.))

< That was awesome. >

"Agreed, there's much more than simple dives though," Celena called back with a chuckle, turning one wing one way and the other opposite to spin on axis once.

< Might have a new favourite morph, > she joked.
