The City didn't have weather as most people knew it, but it was nonetheless a beautiful day - warm weather with a nice breeze, Stacy's sun-equivalent shining in the sky... almost as if it was reflecting the emotions of at least one of the ship's crew. In the middle of the Park, someone had set up a little white lattice archway amongst the hedgerows, decorated with ivy and roses and lilies that looked remarkably real (if they were, in fact, synthetic). In front of the arch were several rows of white chairs, more than enough for anyone who cared to show up.

It was a beautiful day for a wedding.

And frankly, Nanoha needed it. After the chaos and confusion; the rage and terror on Galilee... she didn't think she could ever forget that horrible sense of loss and emptiness when she'd thought that Fate was gone, if only for a day or so. But this would go a long way toward exorcising those demons - a day that she'd dreamed of for years.

Of course, she couldn't go greet anyone yet. She was in her wedding dress, after all! These things needed to be proper.

"Yeah, but knowing you, you'd probably be the one trying to be nice. Let's face it Negi-kun: you are a perfect gentleman. I doubt you'd be the one to go and make little girls come after you, and you know it."

She nodded. "They were one of the first working relationships I've seen on the ship. I saw them fight and make up and...honestly, I wish them well. The two of them are perfect for each other. I wish I can have something like them in time."

Negi had to nod and grin at that. What was he, Char Anzable?

"Love like that doesn't come without work," admitted Negi. "I can only hope Sasami'll wait for me too."

He squeezed her shoulder. "Maybe someday he'll return."

Kaya giggled. "Of course she will, come on. She's Sasami. Plus, don't forget she has a goddess in her and all. I have a feeling she would wait for you, trust me."

She looked thoughtful for a moment. "He has a girlfriend he loves Negi: I always knew that. It would be harder to give him up if I never met Will, but I did: she truly loved him. Wherever Matt is, I want him to eventually meet Will again. I shouldn't get in the way of anyone's true love again: this would be the second time. Matt will always be special to me though, always. I think I really loved him deeply."

Negi nodded, sighing. "Well enough of that. I think its time we find a place to watch this from. This is going to be quite the moment."

"Exactly!" Kaya said, taking his hand. "Mind sitting next to me, Negi-kun?"

"Always big sis. Let's find a place to sit."

She brightened a bit at being referred to as a big sister, but allowed him to show the way.

"This looks like a good spot. It's not too far up." said Negi, gesturing to the spot.

"All right," Kaya said, walking with him, and then allowing him to take the seat first, in typical big sister fashion.

"Ah thanks." Negi sat down and grinned up at her. "Should be any moment now when they begin."
