Dearly Beloved...
The City didn't have weather as most people knew it, but it was nonetheless a beautiful day - warm weather with a nice breeze, Stacy's sun-equivalent shining in the sky... almost as if it was reflecting the emotions of at least one of the ship's crew. In the middle of the Park, someone had set up a little white lattice archway amongst the hedgerows, decorated with ivy and roses and lilies that looked remarkably real (if they were, in fact, synthetic). In front of the arch were several rows of white chairs, more than enough for anyone who cared to show up.
It was a beautiful day for a wedding.
And frankly, Nanoha needed it. After the chaos and confusion; the rage and terror on Galilee... she didn't think she could ever forget that horrible sense of loss and emptiness when she'd thought that Fate was gone, if only for a day or so. But this would go a long way toward exorcising those demons - a day that she'd dreamed of for years.
Of course, she couldn't go greet anyone yet. She was in her wedding dress, after all! These things needed to be proper.

RECEPTION / MINGLING
Looking for Anwei
So he strode up to Anwei, only slightly nervous. When the music slowed a bit, he opted for the old-fashioned approach; bowed slightly, hand out. "May I have this dance?"
Re: Looking for Anwei
She started a little at Sam's approached, but smiled and held out her hand. "Of course! But I haven't danced in gravity for some time. You may have to put up with me stepping on your feet." The yukata restricted her movements enough that she shouldn't make too much of a spectacle of herself.

She blinked at the thought, swaying to the music to pick up the beat. She really wasn't used to the idea that people in authority weren't allowed to take advantage of those under them; certainly it had always been that way on Fle. With the mercenaries...it had depended on the ship.
"I'm not uncomfortable," she said honestly. "Are you?" Hopefully no one had set him up to do this - no, of course not.

Re: RECEPTION / MINGLING
Well, okay, that was a bit of an exaggeration, but that didn't change the fact that she didn't really socialize all that much.
Re: RECEPTION / MINGLING
She shrugged, sticking around to get some refreshments, siding alongside a girl she didn't know.
"Some party huh? Know those girls?"
Re: RECEPTION / MINGLING
Actually, both of them were, but apparently that part wasn't really official until just now. Maybe. Who really knew?
Re: RECEPTION / MINGLING
Oh wait, she totally met Vivio before.
"That uptight chick in the library, that's right. So...this happen often, these kinda ceremonies, in your world?"

There was no mistaking the look in their eyes, the love and the devotion there: with all that had happened lately, she thought the ship had needed it, and she was blowing her nose as inconspicuously as she could.
But obviously noise travels, so feel free to make fun of her.

"You look like you might need these."

"It was really nice though wasn't it? It's been forever since I've been to a wedding, I sort of forgot how much fun they are to attend."
Admittedly the last time he'd been to a wedding he wasn't yet legal to drink and that part was making this wedding a lot MORE fun...

If you're a guy, Jr.'s probably chatting and having a nice drink with you.

"...I know them." She knew they probably still thought of her as such, but it was hard to say 'friend' after what had happened...

Wow, this was something that she would've been expecting from Vivio, not someone else. Who was he anyway?

He gave Einhart the smallest of bows (somehow, he felt a little more than physically twelve when he was dressed up at formal events like this) after that. "I should probably introduce myself first, huh? I'm Jr. - Gaignun Jr."

She blinked, blushing a bit as he bowed. "My name is Einhart Stratos."

"And here's a song that I wrote for them in my spare time. I know it's not much, but I was thinking of how these two cuties were before they got together! HIT IT!"
And the band started up as she began strumming on her guitar. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhpjMzmDNR8&feature=related)
