Dearly Beloved...

The City didn't have weather as most people knew it, but it was nonetheless a beautiful day - warm weather with a nice breeze, Stacy's sun-equivalent shining in the sky... almost as if it was reflecting the emotions of at least one of the ship's crew. In the middle of the Park, someone had set up a little white lattice archway amongst the hedgerows, decorated with ivy and roses and lilies that looked remarkably real (if they were, in fact, synthetic). In front of the arch were several rows of white chairs, more than enough for anyone who cared to show up.

It was a beautiful day for a wedding.

And frankly, Nanoha needed it. After the chaos and confusion; the rage and terror on Galilee... she didn't think she could ever forget that horrible sense of loss and emptiness when she'd thought that Fate was gone, if only for a day or so. But this would go a long way toward exorcising those demons - a day that she'd dreamed of for years.

Of course, she couldn't go greet anyone yet. She was in her wedding dress, after all! These things needed to be proper.

"Well no, but I think its about time, don't you?"

She made a face here. "Don't you have a girlfriend now, Julian? Rumor was you were with Supergirl."

She shook her head. Really, she didn't get the whole "sleep with as many people as you could " thing at all.

There's still a little bit until the wedding starts, though, which means more time to get to know the new crewmember. "What do you think of the ship?"

"Woah, so you can?" At most, Jr. just had a couple of antique blades that sat on display - it was the guns he actually used. "Sweet!"

At the following question, Jr. shook his head with a quick shrug. "Nah, I'll probably go to do the old mix and mingle. Do you have one?"

"A man can dream, can't he?" He sighed dreamily, and Kaya was free to imagine just what he might have been thinking of.

He looked over at her, and noticing her expression, broke out into a wide grin and gave her a playful pat on her. "Relax, I'm just playing around. I am dating Kara, and I'm actually trying to not screw this one up. She's around here... somewhere, though. She went to say hi to a few people."

When she first saw the announcement, she wondered how often something like this might happen during their journey. She was actually a little surprised to see it happening at all. But now that it was, there was hope that it wouldn't be the last.

Fate could not keep still. Whether it was pacing up and down throughout the area of the park the wedding was being held, fiddling with tie of the dark suit Rein had made for her, or just shifting from foot to foot. Her nerves were getting to her, and it was hard not to notice.

But still, she did her best to greet everyone! Feel free to chat with or tease the groom the bride Fate; she may be on the verge of a breakdown, but that doesn't mean she's not feeling chatty.

"I don't know if I'd want to see what kind of dreams you have Julian," Kaya said, laughing. Really, she probably didn't.

She nodded. "Yes well, she's lucky then. Just remember to stay focused. In my experience, there's nothing like having someone to come home to, even if it is Stacy."

There was something special abut seeing two people share vows to be together forever. The planet, even though she had not been there, had been one thing: they had pretty much been forced. Here, it was something she knew Fate and Nanoha mutually agreed upon.

"I wonder who will wear what?" Kaya said aloud. After all, some outfits were customary, and she knew they would look different from what would be worn in a marriage ceremony in the Northern Water Tribe.

One little man in a fancy outfit was down with a little friendly poking. When Jr. was close enough to the blonde, he leaned forward to put himself within her eyesight to catch her attention.

"Hey!" he greeted with a happy wave after that. "Getting exciting now, huh?"

"I'm ready...!" Vivio answered, quietly. This was exciting - her mamas were making it official. And with everything that had going on, something like this was all the worth while.

Making sure her pink dress was in place, and taking up a basket of petals (mostly synthetic types), Vivio made her way out, Kris floating right behind and dressed up in his own little suit.

Julian put his arm around her, and leaned in to quietly tell her "You know, its not too late for us to ditch our significant others and run away together. We can run off to some far part of the City, away from everyone else, find a nice place to live by river, and make sweet, sweet love by water and forget about everyone else." He spoke in an overly dramatic tone as he painted the flowery vision of their future together.

"What do you say, Sweetheart? Will you make the happiest man on the meatship, or will you break my heart into a thousand little tiny pieces when you say 'I do' to someone who is clearly not I?"

He was a cad to the very end.

Nanoha beamed down at Vivio as the girl went out to perform her duty - pride swelling up in her heart more than anything at the sight. "Good girl," she said softly.

The mage took a deep breath, making sure one final time that her wedding dress was on properly and that the crown of flowers in her hair sat right... she reached down to take up her bouquet, exhaling and inhaling once more, before she stepped out behind the screen into the aisle, following Vivio to their makeshift altar.

She walked slowly, meeting the eyes of her comrades - her friends - one by one... but then she locked eyes with Fate. And for a moment there, her eyes felt a little bit blurry until she blinked them away. This was happening. This was really happening.

Wedding time was always one of the more interesting things about life. Superman knew that - happily married to one Lois Lane-Kent. He could sympathize with what they went through to get to this point.

At the moment, he had once again taken the guise of Clark Kent, wearing a nice suit and having his hair combed back. It was probably a matter of time before someone realized who he was. At this point, it probably shouldn't be a problem.

Minatsuki didn't know any of the other people here, but going to the wedding and acting like she cared about all of it and thought it was just so romantic was good for her cover. Until she decided to come out with her true self, she needed to act the part.

She looked around for a place to sit and noticed an empty spot next to Clark. "May I sit here, sir?"

"I have basic training in most weapons, yeah. Although I don't think I've held a real sword before."

He paused. "I might. I guess I have to ask her first."

"It's, it's just so beautiful!" Pinkie exclaimed in between melodramatic sobs. "I promised myself I wouldn't cry, but..."

She inhaled, then blew loudly into her handkerchief. And then sobbed some more.

When Fate turned her gaze towards the aisle, any jittering stopped, along with her breathing. Somewhere in the back of her mind she made a note to congratulate Rein on a job well done, but it was hard to think of anything other than how beautiful her soon-to-be wife was right now. So she just watched as Nanoha slowly walked towards her, each step Taking what seemed like ages.

"E-Exciting, yeah..." Fate said. Even her voice was shaking, and she really wasn't trying to hide it. It was pointless, really.

"I wasn't expecting it to be this nerve-wracking."

"Hm? Oh, sure. Be my guest." Clark said, making sure to give Minatsuki some room. "You must be new around here, aren't you?"

"Hey oneesama," said Negi, coming up behind her -- in full adult mode too. Dressed in a dashing suit, he was smiling at her. "What a day, and it's just beginning! I can't wait for this to go through."

"Oh reaaaaally?" Jr.'s tone turned dangerously curious. And he smirked, leaning up and in toward Zouichi and dropping his voice to that of a not-so-quiet whisper. "So? Who is it?"

"You seem pretty under control," remarked Negi as Anwei worked on that flower arragement. He was in full adult mode, since as a kid he wouldn't be able to see anything.

Ben chuckled at the display. "Well it's a nice turn out. I think everyone's here right now."

Talking pony. Did he know her? No. But it wouldn't stop him from being social.

"As tempting as that is, I'll have to refuse that offer," Fate said. Just this once, she'll go along with his teasing for a while. Who knows, maybe it'll help ease her nerves a bit. "I don't think you want to be on the other end of Nanoha's spells again. She probably wouldn't hold back as much as she did last time."

"Hey," said Reimi, waving at him. "Came out for the well wishes too?"

She was dressed in a nice blue dress, though it only came halfway to her knee. Rein had insisted that she wore something to flatter her figure even if Reimi herself wasn't too sure about looking too nice at a wedding.
