Newbie Meet n' Greet

For the newbies, there are people waiting for them in the Obs Deck. A whole gaggle of people. Behind them is the nasty statue, and the beautiful sight through the windows of the stars streaming past and the swirling vortex of collars that was interdimensional travel.

There are more questions than answers, but the crew is willing to help, especially the Command Staff and greeters.

Still, Diana smiles. Both subtlety and forthrightness have their place and there is something to be said for those who speak their minds as they go.

"Oh. So is it ensorcelled to react to the metalworking and temporal manipulation?" Wyn asks, inspecting the formerly-moving piece of jewelry from a safe-ish distance. "I can't imagine that it'd be entirely nonmagical in nature, just because it only reacts to certain people, but-- I'm sorry, you probably don't want to talk about your jewelry."

"The design and means of which it became to be this way has been lost to history, I am afraid. There was a dissolution of the Historians during the time in which it was created so many of the records are missing or modified." Still, Diana doesn't seem that bothered to talk about it.
