Newbie Meet n' Greet

For the newbies, there are people waiting for them in the Obs Deck. A whole gaggle of people. Behind them is the nasty statue, and the beautiful sight through the windows of the stars streaming past and the swirling vortex of collars that was interdimensional travel.

There are more questions than answers, but the crew is willing to help, especially the Command Staff and greeters.

Mei Ling can't believe she's being checked out by the famous Solid Snake shakes her head at him, "Snake." She scolds him, though there's a playful hint to it. She missed him, alright?

Serious business time, though, "No, no one knows why we're here. I guess everyone once in a while people are assigned to go on off-ship missions, but I haven't been on one of those yet."

It's not Snake's fault she's good looking. He does tear his eyes away at the reprimand. He may be a perv but he's a respectful perv.

"Hnh. Can hardly wait... any bets on how fast I get assigned to one of these 'missions?'"

"I can't say. I've only been around for one of them, and I came right in the middle while they were off-ship. The entire crew's been back for awhile, though, so maybe they'll be one soon." Mei Ling didn't know if she was going to be going on missions either, and she was slightly excited and slightly nervous at that idea.
