Newbie Meet n' Greet

For the newbies, there are people waiting for them in the Obs Deck. A whole gaggle of people. Behind them is the nasty statue, and the beautiful sight through the windows of the stars streaming past and the swirling vortex of collars that was interdimensional travel.

There are more questions than answers, but the crew is willing to help, especially the Command Staff and greeters.

She knew that voice. Was that... Lam turned, a slight smile tugging at her lips. It was. That was definitely Ronon Dex. Her laugh was soft and she shook her head.

"I thought you were in Atlantis last I checked," she said wryly. "So much for that thought." Lam gestured at the view and then pulled her hand back. "Didn't think I'd ever get to see them or whatever this is."

"I thought I was on Atlantis too then I woke up here about a month ago." Ronon shifts as he replies. "You've never been in space before?"

Another person who he knew and knew him back. Things felt like they were looking up for Atlantis' Chewy.

"Nope. Closest I've come to being in space was walking through the gate just the once," she said. "But this? Not a chance. I suppose there's part of me that's excited to see this and then there's the sane part that's trying not to come undone." The suit was going to take some getting used to as well and she tried to relax in it as much as possible.

"Don't let Stacy get to you too much. We're all stuck here for now," Ronon wasn't going to lie about their situation. "If it helps, take in the good view. I can't get sick of looking at Space." He gestures to the windows.
