Newbie Meet n' Greet
For the newbies, there are people waiting for them in the Obs Deck. A whole gaggle of people. Behind them is the nasty statue, and the beautiful sight through the windows of the stars streaming past and the swirling vortex of collars that was interdimensional travel.

Which is why she asked for her superhero identity, just in case.
She raised an eyebrow at the group name. "So I'm guessing people really want to get out of here, huh? Are they heroes from the big groups? Like the Justice League? Or X-men?" Why yes, she does come from a world with both.

Then again, maybe it was because she'd blown up a fleet of organic ships. It wasn't even like she knew that she would, but for whatever race was picking people, they might have thought she could do a whole hell of a lot more than she was currently capable of.
Unless the enemy was organic ships. But wasn't there someone more competent with sleeping powers besides her around?
Though to Selene's credit, she kept her mini-freak out in her head and maintained a rather calm demeanor on the outside.
"Star Trek? Yeah, I've seen some of it," Selene said. Any intimate knowledge she had she had gotten from trekkie dreams she'd wander into. "Why?"
