Reliving your past through innocent eyes. [Open]
Now that everything was over, and people regained their memories and appropriate ages, Ronnae found herself staring at the sketchpad her younger self was carrying around. She was somehow scared of opening it. Fearful that the memories would be too painful. She had, after all, done her best to not think about things while on the ship. She knew it would only bring her heartache knowing that they might or might not be in the pods and even then, would they be the same?
She sighed as she settled under the large tree that made up Nokosi's house, slumping down till she sat on the grassy floor, relaxing against the smooth bark of the tree. Placing the sketchpad on her lap, she looked at it with hesitation, maybe she'll take a peak.

He considered her words, then shrugged. "I suppose, but usually the next enemies were a lot more obliging about showing up to be attacked, weren't they? Waiting for them to make a move is getting to me."

She looked up in thought, "Well they're very clear on what they want, unless the ones who made contact with them have been able to gather more information. I'm sure they'll make a move soon enough."

He flopped down under the tree as well, making the gesture look easy despite the armor. "I haven't gotten to smack something around with a sword in forever. I'm going to get rusty."

Turning her attention back to him, she looked at him curiously. "Why not just go to the sensoriums? The possibilities and scenarios you can create in it are limitless."

He sat up a little straighter. "Your dad's a paladin?" How did that work?
no subject
She nodded proudly at the inquiry, "Yup, a very noble one. He used to work solely for Silvermoon, but found that his calling and ideals matched the Silver Hand's and the Argent Crusade."
no subject
"So... sorry if this is kind of blunt, but am I getting the right impression that your dad was an elf?"
no subject
The question sent a cold shiver up her spine and she looked away. Not because she was embarrassed of who she was, more because of what she was, and she was too accustomed to the other races looking down on her... specially sin'dorei...
"Y.... Yes he is..."
no subject
"...Wow, so your dad managed to win the affections of a lovely lady orc? Talk about living the dream." Hey, Mar, that was a bit of a weird thing to say out loud. "Uh, no offense or anything!"

The other statement made her blush as she looked away. "N-none taken... and it was more of an uphill obstacle course than anything from what I'm told... Mama was extremely difficult to approach... but papa's probably the definition of stubborn and never giving up."
no subject
Maybe he needed to go back in there and see if it happened again.
"Oh, believe me, I know how THAT goes," Mar said with a grin. "No offense to the valorous and honorable orcs, but man, they're harder to date than the Forsaken, and that's saying something. I guess if I ever get back to Azeroth, I need to take a lesson about persistence."

"'Parently can't get enough of them."

"So what's got you so thoughtful out here?"

She looked to her sketchbook afterward. "Just going over some things I did while I suffered to the effects of the clock."

"If something falls, you rebuild. If an old thing fades, you make a new one. Never let the present turn your memories of the past sad."
no subject
"It's harder than one thinks at times."
no subject
"Of course! That's why I said it. It helps if you hear it from others sometimes instead of having to remind yourself of it."
