Reliving your past through innocent eyes. [Open]
Now that everything was over, and people regained their memories and appropriate ages, Ronnae found herself staring at the sketchpad her younger self was carrying around. She was somehow scared of opening it. Fearful that the memories would be too painful. She had, after all, done her best to not think about things while on the ship. She knew it would only bring her heartache knowing that they might or might not be in the pods and even then, would they be the same?
She sighed as she settled under the large tree that made up Nokosi's house, slumping down till she sat on the grassy floor, relaxing against the smooth bark of the tree. Placing the sketchpad on her lap, she looked at it with hesitation, maybe she'll take a peak.

Still perfectly calm. He's treating this as an academic discussion, really.

"Look, I'm not saying I condone this cycle of hatred. I loathe it, and if things could be different, I would do anything to make it so. But that's how our world is, and if you're going to judge the Forsaken for being a product of this world and then deny them the chance to exist just like everyone else, then I think that seems a bit hypocritical."

He finally sat up again, to look at Ronnae. "I figured out a test for Horde members long ago, to provide moral guidance to our members in uncertain times. I call it the Saurfang Test. It's simple enough... just ask, 'Would High Overlord Varok Saurfang approve of this'? And it's a measure of how powerful the test is that even Garrosh Hellscream follows it.
"And I don't think the High Overlord would approve of the Forsaken's actions," he said, simply.

"Varok Saurfang wouldn't do what they did, but I bet he wouldn't deny them some sort of way for keeping their people's numbers at a safe level. Like maybe have volunteers, or people who don't want to die. Maybe denizens that are already dead. Things like that. If anything, I wish the High Overlord would have taken the seat as the Warchief. He has wisdom beyond his years and would know how to better handle these situations, but he certainly wouldn't be discriminating."

He lay back down. "We both know the High Overlord wouldn't have accepted. Poor man has been through too much. He's earned his rest if anyone has."

She definitely sounded bitter about the last part, specially as she raised and hugged her knees to her chest, resting her head against them.

Though the latter applied to him, and he knew it.
