Mingling at the Bazaar

Next to the Mall Hotel, a large bazaar sprawled out through the streets. Food stalls, jewelery stalls, plastic surgery stalls...might want to stay away from that last one. But since the bizaar was close by, it served as a good place for the crew to meet up and start their exploration of XaXing.

Chris had somehow made it to the shore leave this time, and had wandered to the mask shop. A bit curious, and the desire to have at least one souvenir made him a tad interested. "Excuse me, how much is that mask?" Chris asked pointing to the Ninja Mask.

"For you, one hundred," the man answered promptly, smiling at him, which would have been completely normal if the mask weren't suddenly on the table beside him instead of hanging on display. Also, the number was not arbitrary at all.

"You look like a sturdy fellow," he said, almost to himself. "Yes, one hundred will be just fine."

Though Chris was very much creeped out by the mask salesman, he did his best not to show such things. Afterall, he was in the marines at one point. So he pulled out his hundred credits and offered them. "Here you are."

The man took the proffered credits, grin broadening. Also, he touched Chris's hand a little too long just to be extra creepy.
