A Listless Feeling... [Open]
For once, things just seemed peaceful for Sasami. Nothing awkward or dangerous or outwardly crazy going on and...
...it made her bored. She enjoyed the craziness of home, the arguments, the yelling, the fighting, the random explosions due to the fighting. The ship didn't give that wonder to her - if it wasn't the laws that the crew voted on long ago, it was Stacy herself keeping everyone in order. She had a feeling that, if they were here, Ryoko and Ayeka would have either been given punishments or just gone bonkers from not fighting over Tenchi. Or at least, that's what she thought.
Her listless wandering lead her over to Awesome World, the theme park Rock designed before his repodding. Though a lot of the rides were active and being maintained, there were other areas around that were left untouched. Curiosity got the better of her and she ran over to the incomplete roller coaster, bypassing the robotic guards still standing there. It seemed to be a basic coaster of sorts, so there were no loops or sharp turns that would get in her way of just walking along the tracks.
Maybe that's all she needed - just to do something a bit dangerous...

Ah, I thought that might be the case. How is that working out? I haven't seen many places to eat around here... well, that don't offer some rather unpalatable nutrient slop, that is.

"None really, though. I'm missing a lot of stuff and with some of our supplies low, I think it would be safe to use what I have now to help others until we able to go off planet again."

[Argh, I hate it when my hair gets stuck on things D:]
Does it take very long in between planet missions? Perhaps I should have helped stock up on food supplies while we were on the last world. He looked a little embarrassed. I don't eat very much, so I rarely remember that sort of thing.

Well, so much for the theory that crew members who'd been around longer knew more about what was going on.
It must be hard to plan a restaurant business when you have no idea when your next supplies will arrive. Is it possible to obtain any from Hydroponics?

And she stared.
Then, she buried her head in her face as if she realized this for the first time.
Forgive her, Zouichi, for she is just eight years old.

"There could be a lot of stuff we could be using and... we've never thought of it!"

In fact, I'd test it out to make sure none of it was harmful to the crew before using it to prepare food.

"But, yeah, it would be better if we could test out everything, just to make sure."

"You're right. I wonder if we could use the animals, too..."

He paused for a moment, then added, Also, some of them may be crew members.

"Mmm, you're right. That would be tough to deal with..." she said, nodding.

Would you be the restaurant chef, as well?

I suppose if it were a cafe, you'd only need to be open certain hours. It's unrealistic to expect one person to take care of everything.

It was something to keep in mind, at least.

Doesn't sleep much, though? Light sleeper?

"I see. That really would be helpful in this sort of thing!" she said, nodding. "Though... does it bother you any?"

I've gotten that question a lot since arriving here, though. The people here don't seem very familiar with Synthetic Humans. With the exception of Jr., of course, who had decided he was basically a Realian.
It bothers me more that I have very little to do. I'm not really used to remaining idle for such long periods of time.
