Cranston For Hire [Open!]
It was once again time for Billy to assess the progress being made in this seemingly endless war with tasks and deadlines. So far, reorganization of the Engineering department was about 25% complete. Not terrible for a day's work, but he could certainly do better. Several projects were stalled pending discussion from the involved parties. His social time and interactions with the Rangers had taken a hit due to all of this.
Though he was following his orders to take more resting time during the day and having fun with Ronnae on many of the nights, nothing stopped him from taking on more than enough work to fill the compressed schedule.
Today's work: Supervising the new structure and performing odd jobs around the ship. Repairs were going well in the hangar, Neuropathy needed to be left alone, infrastructure was busy in the City. He visited wherever he could and lent a hand to each, struggling to find time for what he wanted to do in secret: move his personal belongings to his girlfriend's house.
As Billy wandered back and forth throughout the day, a stuffed backpack always accompanied him. Throughout the day, the loaded-down teenager made trips between a number of places on the upper levels and a particular house in the City. Distracted as he was with the constant juggling of omnicom, comm ring, tools, and items, he eventually wore himself out.
Where he ended up shouldn't be a surprise: in the city park, fast asleep, sprawled across an assortment of odd items. Somehow, he'd note when he woke up, he doubted this was what had been meant by the recommendation for 'personal time'.
((ooc: The two location tags basically mean you can catch him anywhere: asleep with shiny stuff to steal or rushing back and forth between the different areas of the ship. Just make a note of where you found him.))

Not too long after she spotted a familiar figure. First she looked at his form curiously before noticing who it was, and almost instantly a shy happy smile crossed her features. She got close and looked down affectionately at her boyfriend. Boyfriend, that word still felt so strange to say and still so satisfying. He looked so peaceful and a bit comical with the slew of items around him. He had afterall been working hard trying to keep his moving in a secret. Not that she blamed him.
She got close, her ponytails swaying onto his body and tickling his face. What made her feel so at ease around him and make her do things she wouldn't normally do was still beyond her. But it didn't matter at the moment. She impulsively leaned closer and pressed an affectionate kiss against his lips, a soft hand caressing his and moving it up to meet hers.

What did cause him to fully stir was the kiss. His eyes opened, taking a moment to adjust to the green and red filling his vision. After taking a second to confirm that it was Ronnie, he gave her a quick and playful kiss while squeezing her hand.
It would take another second for the reality of the compromising situation to set in.

Billy sputtered and jerked, turning on his hands and knees to hack the water out and make an attempt at drying his glasses on his shirt. When they were clear, he looked up.
"Good afternoon, Ron," Billy greeted none-too-happily. "What brings this on?"

Corridors
But here she was, in one of the corridors, and she couldn't help but notice that Mr. Cranston was walking in the opposite direction while balancing far too many things in his hands, plus reading from his omnicomm and coming perilously close to walking into people.
"Anything I can help with, sir?" she offered.

"Anwei, yes. I wanted to tell you how impressed I was with your inventory database, Billy. I do - did - data management for a living, and it's really a pleasure to work with a program that's so intuitive to use."

SOMEWHERE!

"I just returned from another mission, but this one didn't involve any combat on my side," he said with satisfaction. "What have you been up to?"

"Good morning! Or afternoon; something like that, you know what I mean. Busy day?" The Doctor glanced over at his backpack. "Need help?"
no subject
"The busiest of the week so far. I've been making deliveries between checking each of the new subdepartments, and no Points A and B on this ship are conveniently close together. It's always a long hike, but at least I'm almost done with this leg of the trip."
He shifted the large bag of wooden knobs in his arms. "I'm delivering to my house, but after this I think I need a water break. Before the tentacles decide to enforce one on me."
Billy glanced warily at the 'sky' ceiling, hoping nothing of the sort would assault him over the five block trip. "I think I can manage a few more blocks."
no subject
"Rather surprising this ship doesn't have more teleports. Or teleporty things," he added, because there had been the way to the hangers which hadn't quite been a teleport but had been considerably faster than walking. Or jogging, like Billy here. "No one else in the department could help you?"
All right, so it wasn't very science-oriented. And there didn't seem to be much in the way of tinkering or jiggery-pokery (which he would have expected Kaylee and Billy to be involved with; Jamie, not so much). So maybe he could see why Billy didn't have any assistants. Still, a good jog never hurt anyone, had it? The Doctor kept up with Billy, not exactly puffing away.

Park
It was there that they came upon Billy; fast asleep with not a care in the world at the moment. The elf observed the teen for awhile, watching as his chest slowly rose and fell with every breath. He shuffled forward, his gaze turning to all the objects that lay around Billy as the wolf huffed, annoyed.
"Something wrong...?" Nokosi murmured as he began picking through the assortment of objects. "More than usual, I mean."
The beast walked up to Billy and eyed him as if the boy presented some sort of danger, sleeping as he was.
"Nothing." he replied. "I just don't like him."
"Why? A good reason this time?" the elf whispered, distracted. Did this thing bend that way? It--oh. He hoped that piece was supposed to come off like that.
"There's something highly annoying about him and I'm-"
"Jealous?" Nokosi breathed, cutting him off.
Jealous? What a bastard that elf was, sometimes! He'd show him jealous.
The hunter jumped up, startled as the wolf suddenly howled loudly; right there next to the resting Billy.

The human yelped, rolled away from Fontaine, and clumsily rose up on his knees while scrambling for the morpher. Once he found it, it was held out in front of him.
Billy's tension tied knots in his stomach, not abating until he spotted Nokosi. "What in the world is going on?"

Katara, who was usually feeling pretty lenient, tapped Billy on the head, giving him the look of death.
no subject
That tap clued him in. It wasn't the splash of a prankster, or the kiss of his girlfriend, or the shaking of a concerned friend. Just a tap. Prelude to his doom.
He stirred slowly, his eyes taking a few seconds to register who was glaring at him. "...I can explain this."

Once he gets there, he gives Billy a crooked smile, and nods at the armful of stuff Billy is carrying with him. "There ye are. I was wondering where ye had gotten off to today. Do ye need help with that?"
no subject
"I've been running back and forth between our new departments," Billy explains, indicating the first datapad on his belt. "We seem to have ironed out most of the issues, so it's just a last minute check."
As for the load? "It's smaller than the last one, it should be fine."
He's strangely reluctant to tell Jamie what the loads being carried were for, but the items bundled in his arms might give it away. Engineering rooms don't usually require pillows and blankets.

Sleeping Billy will not be asleep soon.
She had noticed Billy sleeping on the bench but, hadn't dared to wake him up. At least not yet. Not when there were so many things to steal I mean uh borrow close to him! Unfortunately, Lash still had problems with stealth, at least not in costume. So in an attempt to sneak and make a grab for the fancy gadgets around him to be able to study them, she instead tripped on nearby gravel and plummeted on the ground close by.
Smooth.

Billy was jostled by the sound and resultant thump, jerking and falling over...onto Lash. Surprised by the collision, he blinked and found himself staring into a familiar afro. It was a nice afro, but why was he so close to it?
After a moment, he realized where he was and scrambled to sit up. "Are you all right, Lash?"

What he didn't expect was to find Billy there too. What he expected even less as the haphazard way in which he was sprawled on the ground. That was something he expected a lot more from himself. Alex sat down next to his friend, considering waking him, but sitting turned into laying and laying turned into sleeping.
At least Alice was still awake, and once Alex was totally asleep, she went over to Billy to see if he would play instead.
no subject
At first he saw nothing but the sky above him, but the weight was still there. He cautiously placed a hand over it to keep it upright. lifting himself enough to see...
"...Alice? What are you doing here?" Not that he expected an answer from a rat.
