Splish Splash, I was taking a bath (Bendy timed to just after the weddings)

Not everybody wanted to go to the consummation huts straight off the bat. Which meant if they wanted to get cleaned up, they needed another spot to do so in.

Luckily, the city had just such a place: the great public baths. They were rather immense. And open, since the Moai didn't have much in the way of nudity taboos. There were private stalls around the edges, though, for those who weren't quite so open. Or just wanted to do a little 'private' bathing (wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more). It's traditional for the baths to take a while. After all, pretty much everybody here has just gotten married! Enjoy!

(Oh. And your clothes are going to disappear. Nothing personal, the Rapa Nui just want to make sure you have something clean and dry to change into when you've bathed. Isn't that nice?)

Well she had no reason to have any kind of ridiculous embarrassment issues: she was TEN, there was nothing going on, and she had to get that paint off somehow, right?

Still, despite getting to hang with Negi and Sasami and doing what she wanted, she was still missing Ruffnut and Overlord Zetta. Not that she would ever tell them that of course: she was a LONER, and she didn't need anyone.

So she bathed quietly, dipping her head in the water and taking her time.

Ronnae floated nearby, seeming a bit nervous and trying her best to move away from any encroaching crowds; doing her best to avoid moving into someones space. She wasn't comfortable in crowds, not at all. She held on to the towel that she wrapped as best she could around her form.

Mindy was not one for being bashful, not when it wasn't absolutely necessary. She dog paddled over to Ronnae, looked at her and sighed inwardly. She had THAT kind of body and she was covering it up? That was just insult to injury.

"Don't bite," she said, shrugging. "How's it going?"

She turned and blinked a few times at the girl in front of her, her cheeks turning a bit pink at the closeness.

"It... it's going alright..." She looked around a bit uncomfortable but shook it off. "You part of the crew?" She asked curiously, she hadn't seen her before, at least she didn't recognize her. And she didn't look like one of the locals, maybe of of the people who came to the planet to get married?

"Yeah, for what its worth," Mindy said, starting to soap her hair. "Saw you with the Outsiders, so I've at least seen you. Is this your first time bathing with another girl or something though? Your cheeks are all red. I mean, I'm ten, I'm not scoping you out or anything."

No, she was definitely not doing that since it would piss her off. Seriously, she was this close to getting an age pill from Negi. Being young on this ship sucked BALLS.

"Who'd ya marry?"

Her face reddened more as she shook her head. "It it's not that... I'm just not... not comfortable is all..." She floated idly for a few, feeling a bit awkward before Mindy asked her who she married.

She glanced over at Billy, a small smile on her lips before she looked back blinking a few times again looking embarrassed. "B-Billy. Wh-what about you?"

She shrugged. "Who the hell can be comfortable? We're on an alien planet where we had to get married to do anything, and then we lose all our clothes if we go to get a bath. I don't exactly see them rolling out the red carpet for us. But that's the royal fuckedupness that is Stacy."

She looked over at Billy, and stifled. "The power-uhm never mind, yeah, I know of him. Pretty good guy, nice muscles from the look of him. I married into a triad, believe it or not: Negi Springfield and Sasami."

It took but a second for Ronnae's expression to change from embarrassed to frightened when she heard "lose all our clothes if we go to get a bath." She quickly stood and looked towards where her clothes would have been to see the area empty.

"M...my clothes..." She sank into the water till only her nose and up was visible, her face full of concern.

She blushed heavily at the mention of Billy. And seemed unfazed but the mention of a triad wedding. She lifted her head slightly to speak in a small voice. "I don't know Negi Springfield. But Sasami is really nice. She's the first person I met on the ship who helped me." She sunk back leaving only her nose and up exposed.

Mindy laughed. "Gotta wonder if its general pervyness or misunderstanding when it comes to stuff like that. But you, you have nothing to be embarrassed about. Where I come from, looking like you get you far. I'm only ten, but being in this kinda situation, you can't really expect to live longer than a few more years. It's a dangerous place, you know, being on Stacy. Things happen."

She sighed. "Yeah, I know, everyone loves Sasami, she's so friendly and stuff. She's even nice to ME, and god knows I go out of my way to make her feel uncomfortable. You know how annoying that is, to be around someone like that?"

It reminded you how out of touch you were with being "normal, nice." Even with this stupid triad, she could see how Negi looked at her. It was all so stupid.

Ronnae sighed lifting her head just enough so she could talk. "It's not all the glamour as some think... And it's definitely not always good to look..." She stopped. She didn't want to bring the subject up.

She looked at Mindy curiously, "Why would you want to make her feel uncomfortable? I mean a lot of my siblings did that kind of stuff cause it was funny. So I guess you do it for the same reasons? She's a really nice person." She commented idly.

"I'm not talking about glamor," Mindy said, shrugging, "I'm talking about stuff like, you know, getting an outfit together and getting guys, even girls, to remember you when you walk into a room. You let them know you're there, you're a force to be reckoned with. And if they get fresh, you put them in their place. I mean, we're female: we know how to do it by now."

Though mace and knives helped if you didn't have the strength.

Oh, there were a few reason, but this was one she knew was most important. "You said it, didn't you? She is a nice person, too nice. Now, shitty people who aren't nice, what do you think they do to girls like her? Well I know what they do, and before that happens, I rather have her get pissed and even hate me, if it means she gets a little tougher and doesn't let anyone get to her so easily."

"I rather not be noticed..." She said simply in a low voice before looking at her curiously. "That's an odd way of trying to help her, but I can see where you are coming from." She floated idly, still rearranging her towel everyone so often.

"I'm just saying...LOOK, will you stop with the towel already, its only us!" God, how did she keep meeting these people?! "I won't make fun of you, and for goodness sake, its your own body! If you can't be comfortable with it like this, how will you ever?"

God, she felt like Dr. Phil. Disgusting.

"Yeah well, I'm not exactly the queen of nice and happy ways of things. Go talk to the water tribe chick or Sasami for that. They don't have to worry about surviving and going all their own because someone is probably gonna swoop down and save them. I don't have that luxury."
