The Final Test

Eventually, morning came. For those inside the city, it had been a quiet, pleasant night. For those outside...well. At least no one was hurt.

As the sun rose, the sky took on an amazingly beautiful violet hue. As the crew began to awaken, they'd receive a message from Stacy, stating that those intending to attend the meeting with the Moai Elders were to gather near the massive stone stairway that led to the top of the plateau the city of Orongo surrounded.

It was time for the real mission to begin.

She hoped so. She had an idea that Astrid and Hiccup were the closest to family for Ruffnut, and in that case, she had to make sure they resolve their tiff.

"Hit Girl," she said. "Ruffnut's partner."

"Right, well, Hit-Girl..." Weird name, but you know, it involved hitting. It was almost Viking-like.

"We'll take care of it, I promise. No fight or...uh, demonic possession, would be worth any of us giving up on any of the others. We'll find a way to work it all out," he said, good-naturedly.

Well. This sent a lot better than she'd expected. It helped to not be asked a whole bunch of questions too, like why she would care in the first place or whatever. She really hadn't wanted to get into the whole "Ruffnut sees her brother when he wasn't there" thing. She didn't want them thinking Ruffnut was nucking futs, after all.

"Good to hear," Hit Girl said. "You guys are, like, the only family she has on the ship, not to mention the only people she knows back from her world or whatever. I figured it'd be better to get all that awkwardness out in the open."

As for what they did here? Well, that was up to them if they wanted to tell Ruff or not.
