The mouth in the main sculpture on Obs Deck opened, revealing a screen with the image of a mottled blue and purple planet, rotating slowly.

Mission: Spiritual elders of the local inhabitants are in possession of an artifact of great importance to the war against the Ohm. The crew will participate in the inhabitants' rituals of judgment and joining to enter the region known as the Sacred Mount, where the artifact is being stored. The crew is to negotiate with the spiritual elders to acquire this artifact. The crew is expected to comply with any of their demands in order to successfully complete negotiations.

Oh, Howard knows there are worse things than cannibalism. It's pretty commonplace where he's from, though he hasn't partaken.

"Personal experience, I take it?"

Xander nodded grimly, "And then some. Let's just say, be glad you never lived over a Hellmouth. My old hometown have a body count."

"Oh hey, common ground. We had aliens and serial killers and a zombie in my basement. Not exactly what I expected high school to be like from Degrassi."

Xander's eyebrows jumped up at that, and his eye peered back as he ticked off on his fingers, "yes on the zombies but they were more about explosives than eating people, we thought it was an alien once but it was another demon, and a friend of mine fought a camped out serial killer."

"Explosives? Boooommmmmmmbs?" Howard says, raising an eyebrow. "Sounds like you had a fun childhood."

"Fun high school, that was sure. Oh speaking of bombs, the best part? We got to blow up the school at our graduation. Stopped the mayor who had turned into a demon."

"After all the adults vanished on world, some kids started a paintball war in our old high school. Not quite as cool as an explosive, though."

"Vanished? Where did they do? Anybody know?" Xander didn't really like that idea since well, Giles or Buffy's mom were good adults. Willow's parents too except for that one time her mom almost had her burned at the stake.

"We had our adults act like teenagers once. It was pretty weird."

Howard just shrugs exaggeratedly. No one knows where people went after the poof.

"I knew some adults who did that anyway."
