Double Header [Open Like Whoa]

It was a mutual decision that Rein and Ed would be passing customers back and forth between each other. Everyone liked clothing and people liked trinkets being made right? As thus being said, they had put up banners and a nice post with "Atelier Elric" <--- and "Stormwind Clothiers" ---> scribbled on it in fancy Crannagan script. Perfectly legible by anyone who knew at least English.

It was here both were getting ready for receiving customers and it was hoping that they would come and use their businesses wisely.

(ooc: easy enough. Put either Ed or Rein in the subject line so I know who you want, and they'll get something created for you, either it be trinkets/small items/etc or clothing. Both have cookies so drop on by. Repeat customers are certainly welcome.

PS: I am feeling much better this morning.)

"I will keep that in mind," he said, and meant it. She was a delightful young lady, and if she truly did take enjoyment from her work, then perhaps he could persuade himself to take advantage of it just a little more.

"My right hand is my wand hand," he said, leaning in to look at the screen. "That looks marvelous, actually!"

"That should be more than enough, unless I should expect to pick up any more random devices in my time here." Traveling light was one advantage of wizardry. Having lost most of his meager possessions anyway, a fact which he quite regretted here on this ship where spellbooks and histories might have proven convenient, he felt no real desire to acquire more.

With the samples presented, he did just as the young lady asked, reaching out to appraise the two rolls in turn.

"I'm fair at conjurings and Transfiguration, so perhaps I can add my assistance there," Lupin said modestly. "And the left, I think, is slightly superior."

"You certainly run quite a nice business," he said, pointing his wand at the cooler. One of the drinks flew out and into his other hand as he took a seat, after which the cooler lid snapped back shut.

A combination of magic and technology. What a sight. Such a thing by all rights ought to utterly fail to coexist... but what rules applied here?

"I have no doubt you make this sheep a cheerier place," he said warmly and quite truthfully.

"That is quite easy enough to understand. These circumstances are terribly painful... to have everything you care about ripped away." He sighed, taking a sip of his drink.

"But then, it is good that people make an effort to improving things as well."

"How did you come across this post?" he inquired as he watched. "Experience, natural talent? Simply a desire to do it?"

She'd just found them and started making them? Impressive. "You must have a great deal of natural talent in the field to produce goods of such quality, then. Perhaps you've found a calling."

"Your work is as good as any I've seen. You should certainly take pride in it." More privately he considered that Madame Malkin's would be a much more pleasant place for fittings if it offered beverages.

He finished his drink, then leaned forward, elbows on his knees, to peer at the process as she finished it. He was curious, and at the same time somewhat alarmed by the way Muggle devices seemed to mesh with magic so readily, here on the ship. It required a certain change in one's thinking that he was unsure he was capable of making.
