Double Header [Open Like Whoa]

It was a mutual decision that Rein and Ed would be passing customers back and forth between each other. Everyone liked clothing and people liked trinkets being made right? As thus being said, they had put up banners and a nice post with "Atelier Elric" <--- and "Stormwind Clothiers" ---> scribbled on it in fancy Crannagan script. Perfectly legible by anyone who knew at least English.

It was here both were getting ready for receiving customers and it was hoping that they would come and use their businesses wisely.

(ooc: easy enough. Put either Ed or Rein in the subject line so I know who you want, and they'll get something created for you, either it be trinkets/small items/etc or clothing. Both have cookies so drop on by. Repeat customers are certainly welcome.

The Doctor stuffed his hands into his coat's pockets. "Decent pair of trousers? Oh! And socks. Important thing, socks. Do you have any?"

"I do at that," said Rein, reaching up to a higher shelf and pulling a basket of socks of all different colors. "I have my Big Basket of Socks (tm) right now though if you want something of a different color I'll set up the kitting machine. And I can measure you for pants too not a problem. Any color you prefer for those?"

A Big Basket of Socks! That did sound interesting, the Doctor not having to fake that look of intrigue. Going through the contents of the basket, he pulled out a few. Most of them were surprisingly dull colored, just normal or painfully normal shades of brown, black and gray. He did, however, pick the blinding blue one with lighter checkers running across it. He rewarded the girl with a smile. A very nice collection indeed.

"These should do," the Doctor ran a hand through his hair, pushing it out of his eyes. "And those, also, would be lovely. I haven't figured out how to communicate with this, by the way."

He tugged at the plantsuit. It didn't seem to be very, if any, sentient.

"I've never managed to do so myself," said Rein with a shake of her head. "I don't think it's sentient per say, but that could just be me. I never heard my clothing talk before."

"I could make a couple more brilliant colors for you by the way," added Rein. "I've got a lot of nice wool and cotton-like material for that. Now then, pants. Active cut, relaxed fit I take it?"

"More of something slim, but easy to move in. Running, that sort of thing," the Doctor waved down at his twiggy legs. "Something that (hopefully!) won't tear too quickly."

"Durable and slim, easy to move in. I can do that." Rein brought up a diagram and with a few keystrokes, spun it around. It was a classic "Dr. Who-style" pair of pants with matching sturdy boots that looked comfortable. "Brown is okay? Since it matches your jacket."

"Brown or even black," the Doctor said as he tugged on his jacket fondly. He really did love that jacket, no matter how many times it got dragged through mud or lit on fire by the occasional space pirate.

"One of each then," said Rein. "If that's perfectly all right with you?"

She picked up her measuring tape. "I'll have to make sure I've got the length all down first if you don't mind."

"By all means," the Doctor nodded, letting her do her work, even if he'd be watching with interest.

Humming, she knelt down a little, beginning to measure out pant leg length and around the waist. "Making the pants shouldn't be too hard," said Rein as she continued her work. "And I'll bring out some cloth for you to feel."

The Doctor patiently waited for her to finish the measurements, although he was sorely tempted to give her more accurate measurements than the typical inches and centimeters. Instead he let her do her work, although he couldn't help craning his head down to watch. "All right," he said, "I'll look forward to it."
