Double Header [Open Like Whoa]

It was a mutual decision that Rein and Ed would be passing customers back and forth between each other. Everyone liked clothing and people liked trinkets being made right? As thus being said, they had put up banners and a nice post with "Atelier Elric" <--- and "Stormwind Clothiers" ---> scribbled on it in fancy Crannagan script. Perfectly legible by anyone who knew at least English.

It was here both were getting ready for receiving customers and it was hoping that they would come and use their businesses wisely.

(ooc: easy enough. Put either Ed or Rein in the subject line so I know who you want, and they'll get something created for you, either it be trinkets/small items/etc or clothing. Both have cookies so drop on by. Repeat customers are certainly welcome.

"It serves as the last line of defense for a mage typically," replied Rein. "A protective layer of armored clothing, reinforced by magical means to withstand high amounts of damage. However it can be torn and damaged by other means, so I'm looking into strengthening the overall durability."

"There's people coming here on the ship with potential to learn magic, so I try to offer the option to them, especially if they haven't gotten something already."

Hoshi took what she said and committed it to memory. To have that kind of protection would be essential on the ship since she still didn't know of all the potential dangers this ship had. She didn't want to take any unnecessary risks, after all.

"Do you think that I have the potential to learn magic?" asked Hoshi while she was leaning against the wall a little.

"Let me see about your Linker Core," said Rein as she opened up her scanning program and trained it on Hoshi. After a few moments, she bit her lip. "Low B-class, not bad at all... In short, yes you can."

She grinned. "Gosh so many people with magic potential. This is really good. Lots of students needing to learn."

"B-class is good, I assume?" Hoshi inquired while she glanced at her hand a bit. While she knew full well of the potential she had with Seraphiel, there was dormant power within her? She was pleasantly surprised by it.

"I'll do what it takes to learn, Rein."

"B-class is very good," said Rein. "For a mage from, you're from Earth right? From Earth to be this naturally gifted is pretty good. Most mages I find are high C to low A. The exceptions being, well, Nanoha and a few others. It means you can support a device with no problem whatsoever."

"Though I'd want to build a device similar to what you're used to. Got something I can pattern it off?"

Hoshi couldn't help but feel a bit of pride at what Rein told her. To be that advanced already was very good to hear. "Oh, wow... You really mean it?"

Then, at the mention of the device, she blinked before she rifled through her clothes that she had.

"I have this. Is this okay?" she asked, holding out her angelic white beylauncher. "Or, I also have my beyblade." It was in her hand as well.

Rein nodded and then clapped her hands at the two items. "Those would do wonderfully!" she exclaimed. "I take it by the scans that this is where your magic is being directed towards, so I can work with that. The white gun-thing I could probably build the device to resemble that."

Now she was getting eager for this whole opportunity. "All right! This is my launcher," she said, holding up the white item. "And, then this guy's name is Seraphiel AV4. The eagle outside is my holy beast," she explained to her with a smile.

"Nice to meet you Seraphiel-kun," said Rein politely to the beast.

"I'll have to get your help in designing the new device, but it will be a wonderful child to be brought into this world." Rein giggled. "Trust me, it'll be great!"

Seraphiel cawed in greeting, ruffling his feathers a little bit. He was keeping an eye out for anything that might sneak up.

"...Child?" Hoshi asked, blinking before deciding to put her trust in Rein. She was more knowledgeable about this. "I trust you."

Rein nodded, smiling as the machines finally spat out Hoshi's clothing. "And your outfit is done~"

She pulled them out, tugging gently to test the seams and then offered the pile to her. "Go try this out!"

Hoshi's clothes were a comfort from home. She excitedly took them before nodding.

She quickly changed into the clothes that Rein made for her before she squealed. "They look just like they came from home, Rein!!"

Rein giggled. "Come on out so I can see~" she singsonged as she waited expectantly for her to emerge looking good. Rein readied a camera. She loved this part of the fitting process.

Hoshi came out, posing in her clothes as if she was being pictured for an upcoming beyblading match. She didn't mind being photographed at all, since it was required for her sport.

Click. Rein added that to the database as she grinned widely. "You look great. And I'm glad to have met you Hoshi~ If there's anything else I can do, just ask."

"Only due to your help!" Hoshi chimed with a happy grin of her own.

"Well, when do you wanna meet up next so that we can do the barrier jacket stuff?"

"Hehe, well I'll do my studies in on it first and I'd say, half a week? We can meet in a couple of days and I'll go over the owners manual so to speak." suggested Rein.

"As for showing some of the jackets, well, here." And Rein brought up several screens that displayed many of the known jackets from Nanoha to Caro. "Each one of these are tailored to be unique to the person's needs and wants."

"Half a week sounds good to me," replied Hoshi. "I can't wait."

Her eyes gazed over to the screens to see the different jackets that people had. Then, she thought to her needs and wants when she was beyblading.

"What would be good for speed, endurance, and strength, Rein?"

"A front attacker type of jacket then," said Rein as she swept her hand and moved the screens out to reveal the jackets of Signum, Erio and Subaru. "I left out Fate-san because hers focuses completely on speed, while Signum's is a full power damage type. However something similar to Erio and Subaru's would be more fitting for you then."

"Of course the look of the jacket is completely up to you," added Rein. "Lest you think that it comes in a preprogrammed state."

"I could see myself wearing jackets like these, Rein," Hoshi replied thoughtfully. This whole thing was exciting to her and it was like she was walking into a candy store again.

"I'll take care of designing the jacket." After all, Hoshi wore the symbol of her team on her back with pride.

"Sounds good," said Rein. "I'll work on crafting the device. Make no mistake however that learning basic spells from a good teacher is helpful too. I can help with that since I know some of the other teachers are swamped."

Hoshi nodded at what Rein was saying, making mental notes here and there so that she would be able to remember them for later.

"All right. And, when you want someone to move stuff around here, I'm your girl."

"Sounds perfect," said Rein with a nod. "I'll make sure to let you know when we're ready to get started. In the meantime, wear you clothing proudly for me, kay?"

"Okay. And, you can count on me for that. Thank you, again."

To show her appreciation, she went to hug Rein warmly.

A hug! It was the perfect thing as a reward. Rein really liked hugs and she hugged Hoshi back happily.

"Any time," giggled Rein. Aaaah hugs, pure bliss~
