Drinking it up
Well, Ruffnut would be anyway. Hit Girl couldn't and definitely wouldn't drink anything alcoholic: as far as she knew, drinking dulled the senses, and that was something she couldn't afford. Maintaining the persona of two different people on the ship was no easy job, and it required her remembering herself and what she could and could not say.
Instead, she'd save a spot for her sparring partner to pop over and talk and converse. If the barmaid came over, she guessed she could order a soda or something. If anyone else wanted to converse with a ten year old girl wearing a superhero outfit though, they were more than welcome.

She motioned the bartender. "Virgin Pina Colada, I guess, and keep 'em coming."
If she couldn't drink, a sugar high would have to do.

"It's not like home, but it's better then nothing." She decided setting the mug down, "Where I come from kids your age are allowed to drink, but you learn fast how much is too much. There's no room for mistakes when the dragons come." She grinned as a quick memory of the first time Tuffnut had had too much flashed through her mind. He woke up the next morning ill and took half the day to do his chores.

"I can imagine. I know that kids my age get drunk a lot faster than adults do, so they hold off on giving us anything. Also, I figure they don't want alcoholic heroes, can't blame them. Would be nice though, to be thought if as a hero and not just some little girl playing hero in a suit, but I'll fix that soon enough."

She laughed. "I kinda prefer taking out corrupt humans, to be honest. Dragons have never done a thing to me."

Anther sip, "They were stealing our food but like I said, that's been taken care of." She paused and added, "Well I guess now we gotta save the dragons by whupping the OHM."

She took an annoyed swig of her drink and jammed it on the table. "I mean, how do I even know I can trust the people on the ship? Stacy supposedly protects everyone except when you go down into the city. So with that, I mean, whose safe? As far as I can tell, you have to make your own rules in this dump."
no subject
"Anyway, everyone has a job in the village and if you're too weak or unable to fight when the time comes you stay out of the way and do stuff like, put out fires and stuff."

"Don't you guys usually hang out at that clubhouse joint in the city?"
no subject
"I'm too old for club houses, though I think those guys might be a little insulted with you calling it that. But if you're talking about those Outsiders, then no. I work on my own."
She sighed. What could she actually drink here?

She shrugged. "Actually, I have someone who has my back. Got hers too: not every day you have a kick ass viking training alongside you, right?"
no subject
Dean nodded, "I haven't spoken with them much. Seen some of them at training sessions, not bad for starting out. Depends on what you're facing though."
no subject
She nodded. "I've seen some on the battlefield, actually. Again, most of them have powers and magic or whatever, tends to make things a little harder to compare with though."
no subject
"I've heard about one of them, Hiccup? Haven't had a chance to talk with any of them though."
He snorted and shook his head, "Yeah well, powers and magic ain't everything. Usually as long as you got a good weapon, you're golden."
Dean glanced over at her, "So what are you having? I know Kang and Kaylee both."
no subject
Hit Girl gave a little bit of a grin. "That guy was pretty cool, actually. But not him, a girl from his world, Ruffnut. If you meet her, trust me, you'll know. She has...spirit."
She sighed. "Yeah, but big drawback there is that you need ammo. It's why it never hurts to have something to fall back on."
But MAN, it felt good to talk to someone who used weapons regularly and kicked ass with them.
She shrugged. "I dunno. I don't think they'll give me beer, so I'll have to settle for a sugar drink or something if they have it."

"So, lemme guess - you're Cosplay Girl, aren't you?" Sonic said, throwing caution to the wind.
no subject
"If you wanna be that familiar, I guess I could call you anthropomorphic manifestation," she said. "Far as I know, hedgehogs aren't this big or blue. Get back into my imagination."
She knew he was real of course, but she also knew that she didn't like her outfit being called cosplay. That was what virgin geeks did.
no subject
"If I'm part of your imagination, I hate to see what happens when you really try!" he said.

No, she was not sulking. "What do you know about the Ohm?"
no subject
"Just a bunch of big bugs we gotta squash." Sonic said, calmly. "No one's got a big can of bug spray, do they? Might solve a lot of problems."
no subject
But at the last sentence, there actually was a twitch on Hit Girl's face. "You...didn't just seriously compare the Ohm to actual bugs like they're even remotely similar. I'm going to act like you were just joking."
