There's Snow Place Like Home [Bendytimed to between the Ohm simulation and the Second Life plot]
A recent walk through the hangar had confirmed to Jamie that the TARDIS had been put back into whatever place it was that Stacy stored ships when their owners were in the pods. Overall, it didn't make too much difference - none of them had been able to get into it anyway. Still, he had liked to slip away from time to time just to take a look at it and remember the adventures he had gone on with the Doctor. Part of him had been hoping somehow that it would have stayed somewhere where he could do that again. Even though he hadn't really admitted it to his friends, he missed the Time Lord not being around.
So it may not come as much of a surprise that the Sensoriums currently has a TARDIS in it. The wide expanse of snow surrounding it might be a little more unusual, but it does provide an easy way to figure out where the current creator of this particular scenario would be - should anyone care to follow the Jamie-sized footprints to the door of the seemingly blue wooden box. If not, well, there's a lot of the white stuff just sitting around waiting for someone to do something with it.
((OOC: Jamie is in the TARDIS if you want to pester him but if for some reason anyone wants to just use the setting for their own-snow related threads, feel free. Just mention somewhere if you're going in the TARDIS or if you want Jamie to come outside.))

He's so caught up in searching that he fails to notice Alex approach until his name is called. Glancing up from the chest, he turns towards the direction of the sound with a slightly puzzled look on his face.
"Hey?"

"Hey!"
He should have expected it, really, when he decided to stick the TARDIS in the middle of a field of snow. Right. Challenge accepted.
"Oh, I see. Let's find out how much ye like it, then!
Quickly, Jamie makes a dash for the still-open doors, all the better to get outside and getting some snow of his own for retaliation. It's a risky move - depending on how many snowballs Alex has, Jamie could get well-pelted before he gets outside. And yes, he could think up more snow inside the TARDIS, but where's the fun in that?

He dives outside, scooping up the snow with his bare hands, and makes a small sound as his fingers immediately get quite cold. No time to think up a pair of gloves just yet, though. Instead, he quickly packs a snowball and throws it at Alex as accurately as he can - considering he's still on the run to avoid being hit again.
"I'll not go down so easily!"
no subject
Shaking the snow of he bent over and made another snowball before chasing after Jamie some more and tossing another at him, laughing. He was so glad he had the time to think up gloves before his attack.
But really, how could he have not engaged his friend in a snowball fight when the TARDIS was surrounded with nothing but snow?

He doesn't seem to mind, though. Far from it - he actually turns and grins back at the hacker after he's hit. Maybe he needed something like this to prevent him from getting too maudlin about missing the Doctor. And, hey, he can show Alex the TARDIS like he promised.
Later, that is, as he scoops up some more snow and hurls it towards Alex. The battle isn't over just yet.

He scoops up more snow and pats it into a ball, throwing it in Jamie's direction, and repeats it a few more times in succession.
no subject
And if not, oh well. He's still going to make a break for it.

As he sees Jamie rushing towards the drift he shouts, "Ack! You c-can't hide!" The snow ball he throws, seems to disagree as it lands harmlessly in the drift.
no subject
Just to prove he's still willing to fight, he pops up for half a second or so to spot Alex and send a snowball in his direction.
"Why don't ye come over here so I can prove ye wrong?"
Alex fares poorly in open combat XD
But Alex uses that as his cue to rush around the drift, pulling snowballs out of his hood as if they were arrows.
Naw, surely not. XD
His hastily constructed ammunition is cradled up against his chest, and while he'll regret that once the cold starts seeping in, for right now he has it set up so he can start grabbing snowballs and peppering them at whatever parts of Alex can be seen over the snow.
"Aye, that's not bad, but you'll have to do better than that to outwit a McCrimmon!"
Check out this brilliant move!
After this battle was well and done, a cup of coca inside the confines of the TARDIS would most certainly be in order.

One can hope, anyway.
<--give that face a smile, and we're good!
Desperate, he grabbed handfuls of snow trying to pack them in his fists. He then sent those shoddily made snowballs airborne as well. If he wasn't properly soaked before, he would be now. It probably would have been smarter to imagine something more than just a pair of gloves. A coat, perhaps? Maybe warmer pants.
But no, he was without any of that and now skidding backwards across the dune

"Would ye care to go on, or are ye willing to say I've bested ye?"
Will Alex admit defeat? Part of Jamie hopes so, so they can go in and get warm. It all depends on how stubborn Alex wants to be, though. Jamie knows that if the shoe were on the other foot, so to speak, they would be here a long, long time.
no subject
Laughing nervously and slightly out of breath he sputtered, "Y-you've b-bested ye, I mean, me."
no subject
"Good. Come on, let's go to the TARDIS and get warm."

"Hurry up, will ye?"

With the coldest things off he looked around, "I-it's even m-more amazing in here th-than I thought it w-would be!" He had been expecting it to be big on the inside, but he hadn't known what to expect it to actually look like, aside from amazing. Of course it managed to surpass his expectations."

Jamie walks over to the console as soon as Alex is in, closing the doors and blocking out the cold air. Sure, he could just think them closed, but half the fun of this simulation is getting to play with all the knobs and buttons without having to worry about what would really happen.
"There's a blanket in the chest over there, if ye want." Jamie seems to be fine. Or pretending he is, at any rate. "I'll go see about putting some tea on. Er...do ye drink tea?"
no subject
"M-Mikel drank t-tea a l-lot, but I've n-never had much. F-father never k-kept it around. I w-wouldn't c-complain though." Tea didn't taste bad, but it didn't cater to his sweet tooth. Right now though, he was thankful for anything hot.

However, the place where he did put the tray of slop to use for a light snack isn't actually in the immediate area, so when he goes to get it, the illusion of him walking out of the console room holds up nicely.
A minute or two later, he comes back, carrying the tray, which now looks more like a proper tray, with a pot of hot tea, milk, sugar and a plate of biscuits - cookies to Alex.
"Here. Ye can fix it the way ye like. Is Mikel a friend of yours, then?"
