There's Snow Place Like Home [Bendytimed to between the Ohm simulation and the Second Life plot]

A recent walk through the hangar had confirmed to Jamie that the TARDIS had been put back into whatever place it was that Stacy stored ships when their owners were in the pods. Overall, it didn't make too much difference - none of them had been able to get into it anyway. Still, he had liked to slip away from time to time just to take a look at it and remember the adventures he had gone on with the Doctor. Part of him had been hoping somehow that it would have stayed somewhere where he could do that again. Even though he hadn't really admitted it to his friends, he missed the Time Lord not being around.

So it may not come as much of a surprise that the Sensoriums currently has a TARDIS in it. The wide expanse of snow surrounding it might be a little more unusual, but it does provide an easy way to figure out where the current creator of this particular scenario would be - should anyone care to follow the Jamie-sized footprints to the door of the seemingly blue wooden box. If not, well, there's a lot of the white stuff just sitting around waiting for someone to do something with it.

((OOC: Jamie is in the TARDIS if you want to pester him but if for some reason anyone wants to just use the setting for their own-snow related threads, feel free. Just mention somewhere if you're going in the TARDIS or if you want Jamie to come outside.))

A snowball rushes towards Jamie headed directly for his knee as Alex continued to wear the sort of smile only his computer screen usually saw.

Alex had about four more with him, but he could only get one to fly true as he chased Jamie out the door. "Hold still so I c-can get you!"

[identity profile] hack-rat.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 08:31 am (UTC)(link)
Alex gracefully caught the snowball with his face.

Shaking the snow of he bent over and made another snowball before chasing after Jamie some more and tossing another at him, laughing. He was so glad he had the time to think up gloves before his attack.

But really, how could he have not engaged his friend in a snowball fight when the TARDIS was surrounded with nothing but snow?

Alex keeps laughing, even as he's pelted with more snow and it goes down his shirt and gets in his hood, causing Alice to squeak and scurry into the safety of a pocket rather than his hood.

He scoops up more snow and pats it into a ball, throwing it in Jamie's direction, and repeats it a few more times in succession.

Alex does, indeed, duck to avoid it, gathering up more snow in the same motion.

As he sees Jamie rushing towards the drift he shouts, "Ack! You c-can't hide!" The snow ball he throws, seems to disagree as it lands harmlessly in the drift.

Alex fares poorly in open combat XD

Alex works on the same, dumping them back into his hood and into the Alice- free pocket. If Jamie was busy making snowballs, then he would have time as well. Unfortunately it distracts him from seeing the snowball flying at him, getting him hit again.

But Alex uses that as his cue to rush around the drift, pulling snowballs out of his hood as if they were arrows.

Check out this brilliant move!

Doing his best to dodge the snowballs, he bounded on top of the drift, sending snow flying everywhere. His pants and shoes were getting soaked with melted snow, but he didn't seem to mind as he sent a barrage of snowballs in Jamie's direction.

After this battle was well and done, a cup of coca inside the confines of the TARDIS would most certainly be in order.

<--give that face a smile, and we're good!

Alex was probably among history's most easily unnerved people, and so the Highland yell was super effective. Alex stumbled back, throwing the last of his snowballs at Jamie. If Jamie had been swinging a claymore, Alex would have been scrambling in the opposite direction on all fours, begging for mercy. Snowballs, however, he could handle.

Desperate, he grabbed handfuls of snow trying to pack them in his fists. He then sent those shoddily made snowballs airborne as well. If he wasn't properly soaked before, he would be now. It probably would have been smarter to imagine something more than just a pair of gloves. A coat, perhaps? Maybe warmer pants.

But no, he was without any of that and now skidding backwards across the dune

Alex takes the opportunity to put his hands up. Jamie was lucky that Alex was not nearly as stubborn as Jamie, at least not when it came to a snowball fight.

Laughing nervously and slightly out of breath he sputtered, "Y-you've b-bested ye, I mean, me."

[identity profile] hack-rat.livejournal.com 2010-12-27 08:29 am (UTC)(link)
Alex smiled back and took Jamie's hand greatfully. "O-oh, g-g-good, 'c-c-cause I'm f-freezing!" It wasn't exactly clear what was being caused by the stutter and what was a result of his chattering teeth.

Alex scoots in behind him, shivering. He stomps off the snow from his shoes and then took them off. He pulled Alice out of his pocket and put her on his shoulder close to his neck so that he could take off his jacket as well.

With the coldest things off he looked around, "I-it's even m-more amazing in here th-than I thought it w-would be!" He had been expecting it to be big on the inside, but he hadn't known what to expect it to actually look like, aside from amazing. Of course it managed to surpass his expectations."

Alex shuffles over to the chest and pulls out a blanket wrapping himself in it and taking a corner to rub Alice warm.

"M-Mikel drank t-tea a l-lot, but I've n-never had much. F-father never k-kept it around. I w-wouldn't c-complain though." Tea didn't taste bad, but it didn't cater to his sweet tooth. Right now though, he was thankful for anything hot.
