The Rebirth of Veronica (Phase One)
[ooc: PLOT POST IS HERE! Read it!]
He stalked through the hallways like a shadow, moving too quickly for anyone to keep a bead on him for long. There almost seemed to be a purpose in his movement as he made his way through the dark corridors of the ship, though it was impossible to tell where he was headed. Perhaps the young man whose body had been hijacked was exerting some kind of control, or perhaps Veronica was doing the driving.
Whatever the case, the Tyrant made his way to the City.
He emerged from the tunnels and into the wide open space, at last free of the cramped hallway. He took a few steps into the streets and sniffed the air, smelling human blood. He roared, a horrible and twisted noise, then headed into the streets.
She demanded they all bow to her. They were little more than prey for the Queen in the grand scale of things. These thoughts rang hollow in a primal mind, though, but he knew what he had to do.
They would all die.

The orb detonated and knocked the Tyrant back once again, roaring in pain. He was slow to get up, but by the time he did, the human was unconscious.
He stepped back towards her and carefully scooped her up with one hand, examining her momentarily. It was impossible to tell what was going on in that head, until he finally turned and tossed her through the nearest wall like a piece of garbage.
Then he continued stalking down the street.

"I'm about to say the obvious, but she doesn't look so good," he said, running over to check her pulse.

"Eee. Wha-t do?"
no subject
"I can get her to Medbay, but we're gonna need to splint her arm first. See if you can find a good, long piece of wood. There's enough rubble around here that it shouldn't be too hard."

He's keeping his teeth clenched by now. Even he has his pain threshold and while that's insanely high, the limits are close to reached. Managing not to yelp as he drops to the ground and a leg gives way, the stubborn little thing turns..
...to stop mid-limping craw.
"Rrrr-enne be -- " Breathe. "Heal-errrr too.."
no subject
"Okay, I'll find the wood. You stick here and don't try healing her. You're too badly hurt yourself. Comprende?"
no subject
Oh, lovely. Getting confused as the pain starts to hit. Nice bloody move. Breathing as steadily as he can here, Renne actually starts crawl-dragging again with his left foot flop-dragging behind him. Oh yes, he's stubborn to the point of stupid, especially when it comes to trying to hide his own pain.
Really, his logic can be weird sometimes but there is indeed, another life-form in need of help and he'd be damned if he'd lie down on that job.

"Is yeu hurrr-ted? Ad-hee wha-t? Is noh mah-gic, is?"
My my, that's a drop of fear at even the thought of magic. Breathe. Breathe.

"And it's science. Just very, very good glue. Now stop arguing with me and let me find the wood because I don't wanna stick around here any longer than we have to while she's," Peter pointed at Nanoha, "out cold like that,"
no subject
"Eee. She noh be..."
no subject
To his front, he added something that looked remarkably like a Renne-sized baby carrier. "You're getting in here." he said, his voice brooking no argument.
no subject
Out cold in this case doesn't mean "shaking the hand of death", which is good. Alas, again, he misses all things sight-related.
"In whe-rrre?"
no subject
"In there." He said, before he climbed his way up the roof, and made his way towards medbay, running and leaping from building to building.
