Thinking with -- OW, THAT WAS AN ARROW.
Nehaalista stood back and admired her handiwork. Warsong Gulch lay spread out before her, each piece carefully and slowly laid in from memory. She was a little hazy where exactly one side of the gulch turned into the Barrens, but that was neither here nor there. The fact was it was big enough to move in, and that was all that mattered.
In addition to the usual look of the Gulch, Nehaalista had added a spectators' area to the north, nested securely in the branches of one of the incredibly tall trees that lined the area. So long as no one decided to knock the spectators over into the woods, Nehaalista was satisfied.
She crossed her arms and looked around one last time before nodding to herself.
((OOC: Welcome! This is a chance to play Capture the Flag as our Warcraft Denizens are used to playing it. It is permissible to post! No, guys, this does not go towards your Silverwing Sentinel or Warsong Outriders' reputation. OOC Plotting-planning-lololols are here)

Prepare for Battle
Re: Prepare for Battle
She thought she understood the rest: Get the flag, protect your own. That was simple enough.

[The weapons you use here will be safe-versions of your original ones. Instead of landing a killing blow,--] Nehaalista paused and pulled the letters of her usual small subtitling so that they were big enough for all to see. [-you will instead be transported to the "Graveyard" and wait fifteen to thirty seconds. After which, you may rejoin the game. Non-lethal blows will instead leave a mark on your clothing or armor. Five marks, and you will be sent to the graveyard.]
[As for your second question, yes. But you cannot fly and hold the flag. You must run.]

Silverwing Sentinels
Re: Silverwing Sentinels
He looked around, particularly at their own flag. "It seems like the best idea is leaving two or three guys here go guard this baby while the rest try to make way toward the other base. But," he added, tapping a finger against his chin, "they might come up with the same idea. Or an idea that leaves our own vulnerable. Hmm."
He shrugged after that, figuring that they'd either luck out or someone else would have a better idea.
"As for what I can do-- well, like I said, I'm pretty fast. But I'm also pretty helpful otherwise. I've got some Ethers that stop targets from being able to cast magic. I've also got one that weakens those magic effects if they get any off on us, and I can remove them if we get hit with any. Same weakening for general defense and speed of our opponents. As for us, I've also got some Ethers that can heal us, give us more defensive and offensive power. I'll do that right before we start."
Re: Silverwing Sentinels
Alliance WTF?He took his place calmly in the waiting area, nodding at his teammate spoke."Given the nature of the game, I can drop down a number of enhancements to our side prior to the game. I weighted my loadout to control and enhancement, so I'll stay back on defense for the time being and do what I can to disrupt any approaches so they can be disabled."
Re: Silverwing Sentinels
"Myself, I'm mostly melee, but I can give some firing support from afar too, if needed. I can also take care of the skies, if you want, I'm skilled with aerial combat."
She pondered, then nodded. "And if a group of enemies can get close to me, I have a little trick up my sleeves to disorient them for a bit. As for the enemies, the only things I know is that the one with the eyepatch has explosive daggers. She'll probably also tell the others what I usually do, so fair's fair. Oh, and I suspect the blonde one has ways to incapacitate us for longer periods of time. Gotta watch for that."
Eva had asked about that, after all. Vita didn't really reveal that Cinque was a cyborg, because that was probably private, really. That Cinque was tough was something she didn't even think the others should be told, they most likely already knew something so obvious. To Vita. But then, Vita's perspective was a bit odd.

Well, the 'built for stealth' thing explained why this 20-year-old girl didn't look much taller than an elementary school kid.

"Well, I ain't hanging back on defense. I say we hit 'em fast and hard before they get the chance to do the same, 'cuz trust me, they will." Charging headlong into the enemy base was Pyro's way of doing things, of course. "But stealth? Stealth is good. We always had a guy on hand for infiltrating while the rest of us distracted the enemy with a full-on assault. Some of us can keep 'em busy while you run in and grab the intel."
Pause. "I mean, flag."

ROUND ONE - FIIIIIIIIIIGHT.
Re: ROUND ONE - FIIIIIIIIIIGHT.
Jurea's calm voice rang across the fields. "Let the battle for Warsong Gulch begin!"
Warsong Gulch Flag Room and Base
And at the center of the web went the spider... and friend, in this case; Evangeline had brought Chachazero with her, less for the competitive disadvantage than in the hopes that her so-called servant would stop complain about the lack of action. Still... the little doll might be weak compared to Evangeline, but even a repertoire consisting solely of 'lunge at interlopers with gigantic knives' could be effective in an enclosed space filled with other hazards.
The worst of which was, of course, Evangeline herself.

And that, of course, was the paladin.
What she had hoped was that Nehaa would find herself in front of the pack, thanks to her light-gifted swiftness...or perhaps bringing up the rear. Whichever left their hardiest warrior on her own was the favorable of the two options. A paladin was no strange enemy to her, being what she was, in addition to what Aelaidas had been before he had fallen from grace.
If she kept her from the flag, that was reward enough for the knight.

Silverwing Sentinels Flag Room and Base
Re: Silverwing Sentinels Flag Room and Base
Choline crouched against the back wall of the little alcove it occupied, her eyes scanning back and forth; her thrown weapon clenched between her teeth.
She'd only served in the Alliance vs Horde wars occasionally; the skirmishes back home in Azeroth happened relatively infrequently and usually had younger, more naive adventurers on the battlefield.
Ten other Horde was no Algalon the Observer, but if there was one thing she knew how to do, it was to fight and win.
She looked about, trying to find where May had stationed herself.

Re: Spectators and Hecklers
There was no other word for it. This was cool. And certainly the sort of thing she could get behind. She wasn't sure who to cheer for yet. But she had the Sensorium make her something to be rowdy with: a long green-coloured horn that looked to be made out of plastic.
Settling herself down on top of a branch (the better to earthbending-see with), she wondered if Sokka had heard about this.
