Thinking with -- OW, THAT WAS AN ARROW.
Nehaalista stood back and admired her handiwork. Warsong Gulch lay spread out before her, each piece carefully and slowly laid in from memory. She was a little hazy where exactly one side of the gulch turned into the Barrens, but that was neither here nor there. The fact was it was big enough to move in, and that was all that mattered.
In addition to the usual look of the Gulch, Nehaalista had added a spectators' area to the north, nested securely in the branches of one of the incredibly tall trees that lined the area. So long as no one decided to knock the spectators over into the woods, Nehaalista was satisfied.
She crossed her arms and looked around one last time before nodding to herself.
((OOC: Welcome! This is a chance to play Capture the Flag as our Warcraft Denizens are used to playing it. It is permissible to post! No, guys, this does not go towards your Silverwing Sentinel or Warsong Outriders' reputation. OOC Plotting-planning-lololols are here)

"...So, maybe both teams, if I'm unlucky."

"Yeah, probably. Are, uh, are you part of the magic department, then?"

Which was great, most of the time. Not so much when she ended up passed out somewhere. "What about you? Have you thought about joining any of the divisions?"

He looks out at the players. Still no match yet.
"Um, what is it you do?"

"Well, uh, I think that's kind of cool. You could solve crimes, or, uh, find buried treasure or something with a skill like that."
He glances around, then lowers his voice. "Um... are there ghosts, here?"
no subject
"Though, I guess that's the truth about a lot of things."

Before Miku could answer, a tall, Draenei woman appeared at the front of the spectator's box. She was impeccably dressed in a fine linen shirt and a "The match will begin in thirty seconds. My name is Jurea, and I will be your commentator." Several screens lit up on either side of Jurea, highlighting areas of interest.
The first screen was the Warsong Outriders' Base, the second the tunnel that lead from the field to the flag room, the third was center field, the fourth and fifth were both views of the paths leading into the Silverwing Sentinels' base, and the last panel was their flag room.

That had been a bit surprising. She turned her attention back to Tavros. "I hear them, sometimes. But it's been a while." Miku shrugged slightly and looked for a place to change the subject.
"Did the, ah, blue team just get bigger?"
no subject
"Wow, uh, I think you're right. Is, that allowed?" He glances at her uncertainly and shrugs. "It's not that, trolls don't use their powers when we play games and things, even if we're not, uh, supposed to, but it happens."

"Participants may cast supporting spells on their fellow teammates to give them an edge, yes," Jurea explained as her voice also noted to the participants on the field that the game had begun in earnest. "The Alliance side has taken to the field first, Vindicator Nehaalista, Kang, and Vita have met in combat with Seviilia Brightwing, the Pyro, and Celena. On the Horde side, Cowbunga and Cinque have taken a more... ingenious route to the Alliance Base." Jurea trailed as said two of them road in a mechanohog across the field for the Alliance base.

Miku never had been one of those running-jumping-athletic people, anyway. From somewhere else, a small explosion (shown to be a flung fireball in the Alliance base on one of the screens) rocked their spectator stand.

"Yeah, troll games can be, really dangerous. A lot of them are good training, and uh, good preparation, for when we grow up. But I think the risk is part of, um, why they're so much fun..."
He trails off, watching center field. That sure is a lot of dragons. Also Vita. Go, Vita!
