What made these two think they could carry a table? [open!]
Now that the City was once again open for exploration Alex and Tavros agreed to make thier way down to fetch from the city a table on which they could play card games and store video games.
Unfortunately, the desk-sized table was too big to fit into Tavros's captchalogue. Even more unfortunately, neither of the pair were particularly physically skilled. As a result, they were moving very slowly down the city streets, trying to awkwardly balance the long table between them, and failing miserably... repeatedly, even with the help of Alex's shadow tendrils. He just wasn't able to concentrate on enough of them to really make them very useful.
"Tavros, g-g-grab that l-le- argh!" He show one of his tendrils out to catch the side that was slipping, only to have another one of them dissipate. He stops, so that the pair could both rest and bask in their failure.

Shiki lets himself get guided through the city by Alex. All the while, he makes sure to keep the table level so he is not a hindrance to anyone.

As Shiki speaks, he glances up.
"Why, uhh, is that? Does malice, hurt you, or something?"

Zetta frowned. "Left," he said almost absently. "That's dangerous. How do you plan to fix it?"

Following Zetta's advice, he begins to direct the table toward the left.
"Besides, I need to get stronger."

"I'd, say so. It's, um, taking three of us, with a director, just to carry a table."

After a moment of smug silence, he continued. "Besides, physical strength isn't the only kind of strength."

Shiki was slightly sarcastic with his point, but he knew that the talking book contained a lot of power which was not being used.
"I should probably fight different things in the Sensorium than the enemies I know from my world."

That reminded him about the breathing technique, and he began practising it more again as they walked.

He lets the humans (and
bookOverlord) have their conversation while he holds up his end of the table and thinks about different things he could set up in the sensoriums. Moving targets, that might be fun.no subject
