It was going to be their second meeting, and she already had an idea from Beastboy that he'd drummed up some interest in some the newly pod popped. So she'd been making alterations to the Outsider headquarters all day, from checking out the intercom and monitors Billy fixed (she needed Alex's help for that) to helping to set the new carpet in the lobby to preparing the pool for the training session. It was absolutely important that today grow well: she was going to tell the group she was trying to petition Leon to get them more involved in missions. Even if he said no, there were chances that they as individuals would be pulled into some dangerous situation and then all that training WOULD come in handy, wouldn't it? Either way the training would be coming in handy, as would meeting the people that would come to the second meeting. In a way, the second meeting was more important than the first: the second told you who was staying, who hadn't just popped in for the snacks and a few laughs. She still had those of course: chips and dip and a few sandwiches were already set up for people who were hungry.

As for her, all of this work had already made her really sweaty and stinky, so she was taking a dip in the pool to clean herself off, careful to only do so in the shallow part of the water reserved for small kids: once she was good and clean, she would flush that water out, and fill it with clean water again. For now, she wanted to make sure everything went perfectly. Of course, she was also nude for this, so she figured if Beastboy dropped in now, she'd have to dry off pretty quickly.

So far though: room were all clean, conference room was a-okay and the lobby was spotless. For the moment she could relax. She'd be ready in a few minutes.

"I've got some training going on too, we're gonna head up to the Sensoriums to see what you guys can do!" He called and shifted into a gorilla pounding his chest in challenge before shifting back, "It'll be fun come on!" He urged.

Laurie looks down at her attire. She hadn't thought that they would go from the meeting to the training. "I don't think I'm really dressed for training, Garfield..."

Beastboy took a minute to her look her up and down, and unable to stop himself gave a little whistle of appreciation. Very mature of him. "It's OK we'll work with it. After all we can't always plan on being in combat gear right?" He offered helpfully.

"I mean you don't have to train today if you don't wanna." He added, "You could just chill and watch, but it's more fun if you play along!"

Laurie blushes at the whistle. Nobody has ever whistled for her. "I think I'll do that."

"Awesome!" He took her hand without much thought and led the way to the Sensoriums, "How do you think I'm doing so far by the way? I know the teams just getting started but I'm like totally nervous."

Laurie blinks when he takes her hand and starts to lead the way. She bites her lower lip as her face heats up, trying to come up with something to reply back with that wouldn't come out as mumbled stammerings.

"You're doing just fine, Garfield." That wasn't too hard!

"Heh, thanks!" He grinned sheepishly as they reached the entrance to the Sensoriums. Only then did he seem to realize he had been holding her hand and his cheeks lit up with blush. He broke the hold to open the door bowing, "After you!" He wiggled his ears playfully trying to overcome the stomach flipping.

Laurie smiles cheerfully, still blushing. "Thank you very much, Garfield." Then, summing up a tremendous amount of courage, she leans over, and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you there!" She then hurries out, face red all over.

Beastboy's eyes boggled stunned his cheeks burning up. His hand trailed up to touch the spot where he had been kissed and he grinned wiggling his ears, "H-heh...wow."

"Oh, excuse me, Beastboy," Katara said, crossing to where he stood. Making sure Laurie didn't see, she flashed Beastboy a knowing grin and gave him a thumbs up.

Katara most definitely approves and will ignore the awkwardness of earlier.

If Beastboy's face was red before now it was a stoplight, "W-whoa, Katara I um...this is ah..." He grinned sheepishly, "That was cool."

"So, I guess this is the flirt training, huh?" Vita remarked, sounding somewhat dry, but not hostile. She...had been to training with Nanoha and Fate, after all.

This here was nothing against those two.

"Not that I mind, carry on." She said, and gave a small smile, wondering what beast boy had in mind...

Beastboy flailed, "I-it's not flirt training!" He paused and added, "I don't need any training, I'm totally smooth!" A blatant lie.
