Meet N' Greet!
It's big meeting time! Word of mouth gets everyone gathered in the Obs Deck--everyone. New, old, the entire crew is there and that makes it clear that there's close to a hundred of them, if not more.
When they've all arrived, a blue bubble pops up around them, courtesy of Blue Beetle, to block them all from Stacy's sensors. Most of the new people were given the basic rundown by Cybil or Chief when they were first released. Some of them have already joined a discussion with a the Commanding Officers and department heads. Some have had a chance to explore a bit. Some were only just recently released.

"And naw, I don't think anything it out of their league. They got their mad, crazy connections. Not their norm style, but that could be part of the ploy, yo," he replied. He was almost hoping it was his parents. He wouldn't doubt his parents finding some way to kidnap them without them noticing.
Having someone else do it was a great deal more terrifying. In the fact someone COULD kidnap them like that, not the being on the alien spaceship. That was cool. No, he liked the idea this odd test was just to throw them off the scent of what was really going on.

Five seconds of identity surprise and right into differential diagnosis of their predicament. It was like when they were little and they ran into one another in the haunted forest after being punted into it's depths by their parents separately for survival training. Sooner or later they realized that hellos wasted precious seconds in such situations so 'I'm being chased by a were-bear!' was just assumed to have a 'Hi, how are you?' included by the time Doc was ten.
"What's your explanation for the nearly 100 strangers stuck here with us all pulled from their homes in relatively the same nigh-undetectable fashion then? Cause even if they figured out how to do this Dad's always been pretty low-key when it comes to endangering high-numbers of innocents for a job, little alone a test."
Doc frowned, crossing his arms over his chest in a manner significantly less 'dope' than Sean's.

He looked around at the others at the gathering, pausing for several long moments to figure out WHY they were there. "Check it, it could be a ninja battle royale and they all came in disguise," He suggested. It wouldn't be the STRANGEST thing he'd heard the Guild of American Ninja do. Life was crazy, after all.

More importantly... Doc eyed up a few of the clearly-not-human crew members.
"All of them? Even the wolves? Even the dude making the giant blue bubble of sensorblocking with his crazy space-armour? I think that's stretching it a little, Se- Dark Smoke Puncher."
Okay, really, the whole situation was stretching his suspension of disbelief pretty far to start with. But Sean's theory was - although more normal - also way more implausible. If nothing else he'd learned that even the really stupid-seeming solutions were probably right if they gave you the most straightforward way out of a problem.
They really CAN'T catch you if you're on fire...no subject
Though he wasn't sure if his parents had that connection. He hadn't heard of it, but his brother was the one who surfed on a robo-Dracula to Earth from the Moon. Why were aliens so hard to believe in?

"Think it's a dope idea to be so out in the open?"
