Meet N' Greet!

It's big meeting time! Word of mouth gets everyone gathered in the Obs Deck--everyone. New, old, the entire crew is there and that makes it clear that there's close to a hundred of them, if not more.

When they've all arrived, a blue bubble pops up around them, courtesy of Blue Beetle, to block them all from Stacy's sensors. Most of the new people were given the basic rundown by Cybil or Chief when they were first released. Some of them have already joined a discussion with a the Commanding Officers and department heads. Some have had a chance to explore a bit. Some were only just recently released.

[ooc: READ THIS BEFORE TAGGING.]

Dark Smoke Puncher wasn't much for hugs anyway. They made his feel awkward. Though this place was still cooler than being chased by a werebear. Werebears didn't have alien technology he was gonna find a way to study.

He looked around at the others at the gathering, pausing for several long moments to figure out WHY they were there. "Check it, it could be a ninja battle royale and they all came in disguise," He suggested. It wouldn't be the STRANGEST thing he'd heard the Guild of American Ninja do. Life was crazy, after all.

True. The Guild had done much weirder things than calling out hundreds of disguised ninja for a last-one-standing free for all, especially when Franz was still in the mix, but... usually you got a letterbomb invite to that sort of thing.

More importantly... Doc eyed up a few of the clearly-not-human crew members.

"All of them? Even the wolves? Even the dude making the giant blue bubble of sensorblocking with his crazy space-armour? I think that's stretching it a little, Se- Dark Smoke Puncher."

Okay, really, the whole situation was stretching his suspension of disbelief pretty far to start with. But Sean's theory was - although more normal - also way more implausible. If nothing else he'd learned that even the really stupid-seeming solutions were probably right if they gave you the most straightforward way out of a problem. They really CAN'T catch you if you're on fire...

"A ninja could totally pretend to be like a wolf," Dark Smoke Puncher said, but did look over at the bubble. Forcefields....now THEY were hard to do. Then again, "yo, I never said we weren't on a space ship. Just takes a connection to Area Fifty-One to get some alien digits," he said.

Though he wasn't sure if his parents had that connection. He hadn't heard of it, but his brother was the one who surfed on a robo-Dracula to Earth from the Moon. Why were aliens so hard to believe in?

"Augh, fine. You work your theory, I'll work mine and we'll figure it all out soon enough." He rubbed at his temples for a second, then planted both hands on his hips. "Let's just roll with things for now."

"Fine. We can do that, bro," Dark Smoke Puncher said. Now it was a matter of pride that he proved himself right. Just because his brother got to go to medical school didn't mean he was always right.

"Think it's a dope idea to be so out in the open?"

"I think it doesn't make much sense to hide. We're more likely to be useful working with everyone." He gives Sean a raised eyebrow. "If you want to be all sneaky-sneak feel free though."

Dark Smoke Puncher pondered this for a few moments. "I'll keep on the down low for a while, just in case you need back up from some sneakity sneak. If people spot me, it means they got mad skillz we should know about," he said. It was a perfectly logical conclusion. He was a ninja, his brother was a doctor. He didn't have to be all out in the open like McNinja.
