Meet N' Greet!

It's big meeting time! Word of mouth gets everyone gathered in the Obs Deck--everyone. New, old, the entire crew is there and that makes it clear that there's close to a hundred of them, if not more.

When they've all arrived, a blue bubble pops up around them, courtesy of Blue Beetle, to block them all from Stacy's sensors. Most of the new people were given the basic rundown by Cybil or Chief when they were first released. Some of them have already joined a discussion with a the Commanding Officers and department heads. Some have had a chance to explore a bit. Some were only just recently released.

"[As I said, my body is a neurokinetic suit of shape shifting armor,]" Vision said, glancing over at the man who'd asked. "[Additional clothing is unnecessary.]"

He held up a hand that transformed itself so that it looked more like an armored gauntlet than a metallic glove, and then transformed it back by way of demonstration.

"So, really, you're naked," Luly comments with a mildly amused expression.

Cassie made a noise that sounded rather like a squeak.

"[You could certainly think of it that way,]" Vision responded, peeking slyly at Cassie out of the corner of his eye. "[You could also make a comment about how 'clothes make the man' or something similar.]"

"....Do I have to tell you two to get a room?" Kate was trying to keep a straight face. Really.

"No!" If she were closer to Kate she'd jab her in the ribs for that.

"[I am sure that I have no idea what you are talking about,]" the Vision replied to Kate, still smiling in a way that said that he knew exactly what she was talking about.

"Uh huh... riiiight," Kate laughed and then added to Luly, "It's familiar at least."

Cassie covered her face with one hand. "Kate," Cassie said in a hushed voice. "Can you not embarrass me in front of my childhood idols?"

That was much less than appropriate. Vision turned on his heel and glared at the idiot man.

"[I am not a walking sex toy, thank you,]" he snapped. "[I am just as human as you are, my synthetic body aside.]"

Oh look, here's a teenage boy moving blisteringly fast to pull Shawn out of the way, after Cybil signals him to.

Now you see him, now you don't. Oh wait, now he's over here and Kon is holding onto him, wrapping his TTK field around him.

"Not that he doesn't deserve it--whoof--" He sucks in a breath. He really is running low on power, because that sapped him. "--but that's not cool. Look, I guess in your world it's okay to just punch whoever in the face with your powers," he says to Cassie, "but in ours it's not. Supervillains or someone you really, really think is a supervillain, but not a guy that just says something dumb. A few people--" He eyes Lyta "--are already spooked by the superheroes and metas here. Knock it off."

She shrank down to normal, still giving Shawn a blistering stare. "Maybe next time he'll shut up."

Tony quirks a brow at Cassie, "Man, I hate to quote comics at superheros, but... with great power comes great responsibility, chica. You're supposed to be a good guy, right? So don't go beatin' people up 'cause they say somethin' you don't like. You might have the power, doesn't make you right all the time."

Cassie was starting to realize just how bad that was. Her dad would be disappointed...

"Sticks n' stones may break my bones, but words'll never hurt me," Tony nods, "Insults are jus' words, right? Not punches, not knives, an' not guns. Just talk. Still hurt, but hey... better a wounded ego then a wounded body."

Yeah, Tony actually seems to have a surprising amount of responsibility for his age.

A...larger version of the meta that had stopped Cassie from hitting Shawn steps forward. The vibe she gets is not very dissimilar from what she would normally get from Captain America.

He then fixed a glare at Hawkeye. "She just popped...inappropriate as her reaction was, she at least has the excuse of being new. What's yours?"
