Master of the Pielements [open]

The Person: Aang, the Avatar, master of all four elements, truly an individual to be reckoned with.

The Place: The Lounge. Right now, he was in the kitchen practicing his Airbending via the highly deadly art of--

Making fruit pies. What? It took some very precise Airbending to get the fruit fluff all fluffy on top. Good practice.

And eating the fruits of his labor was, uh...exercise for his jaw, yeah. And stomach.

Okay, so he was just hankering for cake after all that time with GLaDoS. It was still good Airbending practice, though.

And he brought the rest out to be served to whoever had a hankering for confectioneries.

"Hey, do you want a piece of fruit pie?"

Come and let me bake you the pie of my people.

"Sure! Thank you very much," he replied, moving closer to take a look at them. And the puppy followed, intrigued. (Fletcher wondered if puppies could eat pie. Hm.)
greennotgold: (Alerted)

"I'm Fletcher. And this is, um... well, he doesn't have a name yet," Fletcher said, gesturing to the small dog. "You're that Avatar person who had that talk about the Ohm, right?"

He took his piece once it was cut, and put the puppy's on a plate to put in front of him. After one sniff, though, it whined and backed away. "Ah..."
greennotgold: (Huh...)

"My... just-dog?" he repeated, picking the plate up and setting it back on the table. "What does that mean?"
greennotgold: (That's great!)

"I think he's an alien dog, actually," he replied. "Oh, good! I thought he'd have to just eat the stuff Stacy gives us."

The dog perked up when he heard the kibble, and started wagging his tail enthusiastically.
greennotgold: (Science!)

"Wow, really?" Fletcher tried to wrap his head around that as the doggy dug in to his meal. "They're all chimeras? Are they natural?"

Really, it all sounded very weird to him.

The dog lifted his head up to bark happily at Aang, then returned to his food.

"I think he's cute too," Fletcher replied. Then, he wondered, "What do you think I should name him?"
greennotgold: (I messed up)

The translator let Fletcher know what that meant, but he wasn't sure. "After food? Is that a good idea?"

He and the puppy both looked up in surprise at the sudden appearance of the lemur. "What is that...?"
greennotgold: (Here you go!)

"Lemurs can fly where you're from?!" When Aang had mentioned mixed animals, he hadn't pictured flying versions of landbound animals. The dog was interested too, abandoning his kibble to put his front paws up on Aang's legs and bark playfully at Momo.

Fletcher smiled, and picked him up. "I think he wants to be friends."
greennotgold: (Mousey)

"Bison? Aren't they too big?" But the puppy was wiggling in his arms, and Fletcher had to set him back down, patting his head to calm him.

"I don't know about food," Fletcher admitted. "It might give people the wrong idea, around here..." He put a hand on his chin in a childish imitation of grownup contemplation. "Most dogs have names like Fido or Rover, so..."
