Master of the Pielements [open]
The Person: Aang, the Avatar, master of all four elements, truly an individual to be reckoned with.
The Place: The Lounge. Right now, he was in the kitchen practicing his Airbending via the highly deadly art of--
Making fruit pies. What? It took some very precise Airbending to get the fruit fluff all fluffy on top. Good practice.
And eating the fruits of his labor was, uh...exercise for his jaw, yeah. And stomach.
Okay, so he was just hankering for cake after all that time with GLaDoS. It was still good Airbending practice, though.
And he brought the rest out to be served to whoever had a hankering for confectioneries.
"Hey, do you want a piece of fruit pie?"
Come and let me bake you the pie of my people.

The dog perked up when he heard the kibble, and started wagging his tail enthusiastically.

"Even if it's alien, that just means it's a different just-dog, but still just a dog. Back where I come from, there aren't many just-animals. Most are two-parts and we have a word for each part since sometimes it's used in other animals. So instead of a just-dog, we have polar bear dogs, and dogalopes."

Really, it all sounded very weird to him.

It sounded perfectly normal to him.
"To me, your just-dog is weird." He tilted his head at the dog. "But cute."

"I think he's cute too," Fletcher replied. Then, he wondered, "What do you think I should name him?"
no subject
Aang shrugged.
"I like naming pets after food. Like Momo."
Aang whistled and made some chirping noises and there was the clatter of pots and pans behind the kitchen and then a white and black lemur hopped onto the counter and up to Aang's shoulder, looking around curiously.

He and the puppy both looked up in surprise at the sudden appearance of the lemur. "What is that...?"

Fletcher smiled, and picked him up. "I think he wants to be friends."
no subject
Momo, unlike the puppy, was not the friendliest animal sometimes. The dog freaked him out, so he climbed to the top of Aang's head and screeched at the other animal.
"Momo, be nice, he's just trying to be friends."

"I don't know about food," Fletcher admitted. "It might give people the wrong idea, around here..." He put a hand on his chin in a childish imitation of grownup contemplation. "Most dogs have names like Fido or Rover, so..."
