A Numb Feeling Inside... [Open]
If there was anyway of telling that someone was having a very bad week, it was easy to see it with Sasami. Coming off from her injuries after the battle with the Ohm, she ended up snapping and attacking Evangeline over a massive misunderstanding concerning Negi. Then, when it came to the elections, she tossed her metaphorical hat into the metaphorical ring and it completely backfired on her: meeting one of her opponents, he'd tried to convince her to step down and reading some of the messages on the omnicomms, it seemed like her opponents were trying to tell her to back off as well.
You're too young. You're biting off more than you can chew. Why don't you shadow...?
"Why aren't they giving me a chance?" Sasami muttered to herself. "Why won't they? Is it because I'm a kid? O-Or..." she shook her head as she wandered aimlessly into the Media Library. She half-heartedly waved off a working Vivio as she took a seat and curled herself into a ball.
"...m-maybe I should give up..." Sasami muttered, trying not to cry. As she did, Vivio just stared at the poor girl, both mage and Device uncertain on how to cheer her up.
(OoC: Kinda doubling up here. You can speak to either Vivio or Sasami here if need be. Oh, heck, go for both! Don't matter at all!)

Specifically the Zen of the Media Library as she looked over at Vivio and Sacred Heart as the girl slumped in. "Poor girl," mused Rein. "Let's go hug her."
And Rein floated over to the girl and said, "Honey? Do you need a hug?"

When Sasami heard Rein's voice, she looked up, surprised to see to see the tiny woman there. "Y-You... I..." she shied away a bit before nodding slightly.
Sasami couldn't get another word out before she felt Vivio hug her from the side.

Rein was a lot of things; friend, servant, device, Hayate's personal dress up doll, but she was also a big bag of comfort to people. Rein had a soothing effect on friend and foe alike, just because she was adorable. And she cared for people which was a plus.
"What's troubling you?"

After awhile, though, Sasami finally calmed down enough to speak with the two.
"...I wanna be part of that Council thing everyone is talking about. I want to show that I can do something just as well as they can and to make sure everyone has a voice, but... they don't want me. Matt's doing the same thing I am, th-then Mr. Petralli tried to tell me that I shouldn't do this and I snapped at him... th-then what happened with Negi-kun and his friend, and..."
"...sounds like a lot of stuff happened and it's finally hit home..." Vivio said.

But something stops her when she hears the musings of two young girls, who she finds herself drawn to. "You OK there, Kiddo?"

"I..." Sasami stammered. "...I just don't know if I'm cut out for this..." she said, curling up a bit more.

She laid her head on her knees and sighed. "I could do this... I really could. Why won't they give me the chance?"

Of course, she didn't stay bored for long. After rounding a corner, she noticed her friend curled up and looking quite upset. Koishi's smile faded, and she walked over to the other girl, crouching down a little.
"Sasami? What's wrong?"
no subject
"Koishi-chan, I..." Sasami began, trying to keep her composure. "...everything's wrong. I attacked someone when they were trying to help one of my friends and when I decided to enter that Council election, everyone's trying their best to keep me out..."
She let out a sigh and buried her head. "Maybe I should... just give up..."

Upon wandering the library, she felt the frantic feelings of someone she knew: Sasasmi, it seemed, was troubled. Alessa stopped dead, appearing in front of her and the other girl, Vivio, who was also fairly friendly with her.
"You are troubled," Alessa said. "Why?"
no subject
"Everything's been going wrong..." Sasami said. "...I attacked someone without any real reason to and it seems like everyone doesn't want me to be on that Council..."
no subject
"Who is this person you attacked for no reason? That hardly sounds like your kind of action. And what's this about people not wanting you to be in Council? Aren't you qualified for that position?"
no subject
"...and I thought I was. I really did, and now... I'm not sure."

"Hi Vivio!" she said, smiling a bit. Then she noticed Sasami sitting there. "Sasami-chan, what's wrong?"

Sasami looked up at Hikari, then wiped her eyes a bit, trying to keep back a few tears.
"Hikari-chan, I... am I worth all this trouble?" Sasami asked

But, this particular girl he recognized from his omnicomm, running for Council. What was her name again? Sasami? It couldn't hurt to talk to the girl, since she was running for the same position that he was.
He hesitated for a moment, then approached her, careful to try and keep from looking too intimidating, "...are you alright?"
no subject
"...I don't know if I am... I ended up attacking someone because I thought they were hurting a friend of mine when they were helping him. And... I keep having second thoughts about the elections... when one says they're doing the same thing I am and another says I should back off a bit, I..."

He knelt down so that he was at eye level with Sasami, resting most of his weight on his tail. He wasn't quite sure how he was supposed to handle this situation, but he figured treating her more like an adult wouldn't hurt, "Sounds like you're having a tough day."
One thing at a time, though. "This person you attacked, and your friend, how did they react?"

"Say, you were one of the people running for a Councilor position, right?" he asks.
no subject
"Yes, I am. Why do you ask?" she said, tilting her head in confusion.
no subject
Char looks serious. "You're running of your own free will, right? No one's putting you up to this?"
