Shore Leave Part 3: The Return Of Stacy
Down on the surface of the planet Zokez II, Stacy's erstwhile (and hopefully much more relaxed) crew began receiving messages over their comm rings and omnicoms.
||Shore Leave is now over, please return to the site for pick up. I repeat, Shore Leave is now over, please return to the site for pick up. I hope you have enjoyed your stay on Zokez II, but all good things must come to an end. Please return to the site for pick up. If you do not return, you will be left behind.||
She means it, too. Better get your butts back to the ship.
[OOC: Please thread amongst yourselves!]

Already, he's sniffing at the thing -- well, until he gets a noseful of exhaust and ends up hacking a bit. Which sounds like he's bringing up a furball but he's learning that lesson: Truck exhaust usually does not smell good.
no subject
Oh hey, an overloaded but happy geek has found his friends! He's smiling at them, hauling one last bag over his shoulder.
no subject
"You need any help getting that stuff in the truck? And...we've got a cake in the front...wait." Clearly, now the logistics are getting to Stephen, and he's pondering something. Wait!
"Think you could hang on to Renne and sit in front too, there, Billy?"
no subject
Three. Two. One.
"BEEEE!"
Even Renne can squee and he does so, shamelessly. His skin is flashing shamelessly too, in that Billy-blue and all kinds of bright happy lightness. He is however, restrained from pouncing the Human, why? He can hear the fact said Human's a bit loaded down at the moment.

With a cheerful noise, he positions the bags in the trunk and glances at Renne. "All right. Are you ready to enter the truck? It's safe, I promise."
no subject
"Just let me know when you fellows are all situated."
no subject
Either way, once the Humans are in? The oddity bumbles his way up into the vehicle. He's as clumsy as a skinny Stitch so don't laugh

Once Renne is up, Billy closes the door, makes sure they're strapped in, and secures the oddity in his lap. There, that should do it. Before they go, the cake is checked on. Good. It won't fall.
"I believe we're clear to go."
no subject
Well, Stephen doesn't exactly floor it, especially considering the planet's atmosphere, but he does set off at a decent clip.
no subject
Don't mind him. He's never done THIS before! This is kind of exciting so..well, yes, Renne squeaks. And occasionally sniff-nibbles at the seatbelt strap...thing.
"Eeeee!'
no subject
"Whoa, are you all right?" One of his arms curls around Renne. The other steadies the cake.
no subject
He's lucky he doesn't need a lot of sleep. He had a lot to pack in on this vacation trip.
Stephen hasn't quite figured out an "excited" squeak from an "upset/frightened" squeak, yet, though. Hence the apologies.
no subject
That's an excited squeak and he's unashamedly got his head thrown back a bit against Billy. Grinning like a little idiot, he is, and purring a bit too.
And then...
"Wha-t thi-s be?" Cue the sniffing nibble at the seatbelt strap.
no subject
"That's a seatbelt. It's designed to keep us safe in case the truck comes to a sudden stop. Without it, we'd be thrown forward."
