The Battle That Ended The Century
People say that war is hell. This looked it.
Buildings and cars and bodies are scattered like broken toys as far as the eye can see, stretching out toward a dirty horizon. Even the clouds seems streaked with mud and blood, and they're taking it out on everyone below with a constant stream of cold, soaking rain.
The sounds of fighting seem to come from all directions, but at this moment, there's no one else in sight.
A breather. The calm before the storm.
[[OOC: This is for everyone who was involved with "The Lurking Fear". Questions go to Milo or Kaylin.]]

Reload, then BOOM.
She loved this.

Any answer she would have given him was cut off by a rapid succession of BOOMS. The Panzers were firing...at THEM. One round struck the hill Sawyer had been on earlier and exploded, sending dirt and mud and body-parts of the dead flying through the air.
"Holy $hit!" he cursed, ducking out of the way.

There! He grinned, but then had to duck and cover his head as rounds hit the dirt near him. He then crawled on his elbows and forearms to the gun. Ok, maybe older than what he'd prefer, but still be useful at least. He lifted up, his weary soldier brain trying to figure how to operate it quickly.
What the hell's with this spring action?

There were several long wooden crates stacked up by a nearby wall, about the right size to possibly hold more ammo for the weapon Loren had, and he dashed over, opening one of them to find four anti-tank rockets. "Over here!"

She made a mad dash for Kang.

"Hey!" Sawyer spat out as he picked himself up off the ground and started following the others. "Wait up."
He trudged through the mud and dead bodies that lay strewn all over the battlefield after his crew mates. God, this was disgusting.
In the distance, a low humming could be heard just over the horizon. It grew louder and louder as the source got closer and closer. Craning his neck, Sawyer looked up in the sky and spotting a squadron of planes flying toward the line of Panzers that was still charging toward them.
It wasn't long before loud whistling sounds began to mix with the explosions and the buzzing of the planes' engines as the allied bombers dropped their payloads.
"Oh, F*ck me, are you serious!!!"

"This isn't enough! We got to take cover immediately. Ok, we got explosives, please please tell me somebody found a Patriot missile?"

He really wasn't one for torture, but he was really considering it with the Nightmare King. The bastard deserved it.

And...
"What if we got one of those tanks?"
no subject
"What ya gonna do, walk up to 'em and ask to borrow the keys?"

Xander then said, "If we all team together, try to grab two of them in two person teams. Knock out whoever's in there."
