Why now?
It was the worst possible time for it. The crew was about to be embroiled in a battle for their lives. Half of them were infested with alien parasites and restrained in MedBay.
||Pod Release Protocols Initating,|| Stacy's familiar voice sounded out to all the podmates.
In the Pod Caverns, there were the sounds of: Pop. Pop pop pop. Poppuhpoppoppop. KASCHUNKhiiiiiiiissssss.
There was condensation and mist spraying out from cracks in the pods, as the people inside slid out onto the floors, covered in slime.

"If you don't stop staring at my @$$, I'm going to knock your head off," she called back to Sawyer in an almost conversational tone as they got closer to the ceiling.

Nothing else is there.
"Please step on the circle."

"That's your only freebie jack@ยงยง!" She snapped at him before doing as she'd been directed to and made her way into the room and stepped onto the circular circle.

"Sawyer--and yes, I know both your names, before you ask--you're next," Andromeda says when the vines put the now-clothed Jo down on her feet again.

She staggered a little off to the side when she was finally put down and she quickly looked herself over with a slight frown. "Wow," she muttered. "Doesn't really leave much to the imagination now does it?"

"Whoa!" he squirmed, shifting back and forth as the vines twisted around his body. "Hey hey hey! I said no probing!"

She may have made them extra uncomfortable on purpose, Sawyer.
Eventually he's set down on his feet and lights appear along a walkway on the floor.

She looked back to the walkway, "So where does this lead us?"
no subject
"I don't know, Mrs. Fletcher, why don't we find out together?"

"Well now you're just turnin' me on," he said, then proceeded to continue following her (and the LIGHTS).

CRACK!!
...her fist was in his face, sending him tumbling into a nearby wall.
"Wooo..." he exhaled, rubbing his jaw to both sooth away the pain and to check if she'd broken it. "...hot damn, where the hell'd you learn to hit like that?"

Which means this is more entertaining right now, because Jo can punch Sawyer as much as she wants.

"So, Andromeda? Where does this path lead?" She asked, making sure she addressed the hologram instead of leaving it open for Sawyer to answer.

Of course the fact that he waited until Miss Attitude was several paces ahead of him before he followed her had nothing to do with fear...of course not...

However lights appear in the nothing, making it look as if there's a clear pane for them to walk on. (Hopefully).
"It leads to the Hub."
