Why now?
It was the worst possible time for it. The crew was about to be embroiled in a battle for their lives. Half of them were infested with alien parasites and restrained in MedBay.
||Pod Release Protocols Initating,|| Stacy's familiar voice sounded out to all the podmates.
In the Pod Caverns, there were the sounds of: Pop. Pop pop pop. Poppuhpoppoppop. KASCHUNKhiiiiiiiissssss.
There was condensation and mist spraying out from cracks in the pods, as the people inside slid out onto the floors, covered in slime.
Pop. Poppop. KASCHUNKhiiiiiissss.

"... Ew." He grumbles, trying to wipe the slime off his arm.

When he starts to get feeling back in his skin, he'll realize that the chamber is muggy and warm.

The glowing pods are weird, but it's mostly the warm, humid feeling in the room that creeps him out. For the moment, he ignores both that and the people around him, and shouts:
"Sam! Hey, Sam!" He pauses, then louder, "SAMMY!"

Introsen. She was supposed to be at the caves with Jarod and Claudia, and this- is not- Introsen. Not by any stretch of the imagination.
She pushes herself to her feet slowly, shaking off what appears to be some sort of organic slime with a grimace, pushing her hair from her face though some of it sticks to her forehead. "Worse days," she reminds herself softly as she glances around the room, making note of the shapes inside the pods surrounding her. "I've had worse days." But at least then she had some idea where she was, and what the hell was going on.

"Wasp! You filthy traitor! I'll get you for this!" Sentinel pulled out his disinfectant canisters and began spraying himself down.

She didn't recognize where she was... Pulsating lights?! Was she somewhere inside of Global Dynamics? She had to be, because she had never seen anywhere like this in the town. "OK Fargo!" She called out. "This isn't funny...."
She went to reach into her pants pocket for her phone, though instead of feeling the material of her pants, she instead got a handful of slimy goop. OK, so this was not good. Her brows furrowed and she looked down at herself and a single eyebrow arched. Naked. No clothes. Fargo was so dead, and Carter too.

Rufus just uttered and "Eww." and tried to shake the slime off of himself.

"You there, sim-- ple..." His voice cut off and he gasped as he finally had drawn close enough to see the size of it. It was like the ones from Earth, but massive! It was as gangly as the ninja drop-out in Optimus' crew, but still, it would loom over the organics of Earth.
He cleared his throat. "Attention, giant organic!" He spoke slowly, having recalled that organics could be easily agitated. "I, Sentinel Prime, on behalf of Cybertron and the Autobot Elite Guard, demand to know what this location is!"

And now she's fallen, and her first instinct is to scramble for her feet to find out why Serenity's jostlin' like that... and she slips and falls again. Not Serenity's engine room. She's covered in something sticky and goo-like...
And she's naked. Shiny. She pulls her knees up to her chest to cover up for modesty's sake, at least for now, and wipes the goo out of her eyes, and starts trying to get the worst of it out of her hair.
Questions can come after she's a little less... drippy.

It's a voice. In her head. Almost mechanical.

The smell is wrong. That's what jolts the wolf awake fully. Bella jumps to her feet, growling and dripping with something she can't identify in a place that is unknown to her, and instantaneously mad as all hell about it. She shakes herself, which doesn't too much about the ooze but helps the sudden adrenaline and spike of Garou Rage in waking her up.
"WHERE AM I?!" she snarls, ears flat to her skull and pelt about as bristled as it can get while it's slicked down with pod goo.

This is going to be a very long day.

"You know," he says conversationally, "I've had dates that ended like this, but they're usually the sort of thing I remember." His tone seems genial enough, but there's a snarl buried just under the surface. He'd been in the Hub, and the fact that he's suddenly here means one hell of a security breach.
Someone has a great deal to answer for.

She stands, holding her hands out in front of her as her lips twist into a frown. For now, the typical Rika mask she wears has rapidly slid out of place. "What is this.."

Lois was standing over him...crying. He had FINALLY beaten that...monster. "Doomsday", the press had called him. But he knew he expended everything he had.
Lois was crying. His eyes closes.
Now...he feels like he just came out of the craft that brought him to Earth.
He looks around...covered in slime, naked and confused. Was this...
"Where..."

"Looks like a space ship. And some really strange passengers. At least we'll fit in" Migi says, twisting to look around as best he can without disconnecting at the moment.
"Perhaps your kind have attempted a more forceful kind of invasion?"
"Nah, we don't have space ships, we're just concerned with surviving where we're already at."
Shinichi, or Shin, is concerned that his father will worry about him. He wants to find a way back home.

But the last time she tripped and fell she ended up exactly where she was before, only on the ground. Right now? Right now she's inside some structure on a smooth floor, not on the sidewalk as she would have expected. She's also apparently gone from clothed to naked, from clean to covered in some kind of slime, and from sane to bat-shit crazy. (That last one is the only explanation she can come up with for the first three).
It takes her a long horrible moment of pinching herself and horrified-ly wiping slime off of her body to realize that she's not hallucinating due to an embarrassingly acquired head injury.
Okay. No. Don't panic. This probably has something to do with superheroes or space aliens, which means Jaime probably knows about it, which means he'll figure out how to find her and bring her home from... wherever this is. Jaime's good for that kind of thing. All of her friends are...
...yeah, she's still pretty scared.
"This is like the Mother Box thing all over again, but SO much grosser." Brenda tries to wipe her face off more and get a better look around. "God what IS this place? There better not be slime covered ewoks anywhere in here or someone's going to die."
no subject
The voice, which skipped Brenda's ears entirely and went directly to her brain, stammered a couple more times before dying out again. The a hologram of a woman with blue hair appeared before her.
"Sorry, things are pretty hectic here right now. You're in the Pod Caverns of a massive organic spaceship traveling through the multiverse. You and everyone else on board has been abducted for reasons currently unknown -- including me and the other AIs."
