Meet and Greet Part Deux: The Socialing
The new people will find themselves ushered out of Obs Deck, so it can be shot down to the planet again, to pick the crew up. Eventually, the crew members on the mission are brought back up, and the doors open to let the two groups meet.
The newbies are likely not expecting their new crew-mates to come back bearing presents--which some of them are.
[ooc: This time anyone can post in. REMEMBER TO TAG OTHER PEOPLE, THO. This is set after the mission so mission peoples can meet the newbies. Latecomer newbies, if you want, you can just tag your guys into this one to make things easier.]

"I.... uh, thank you. That's very thoughtful of you." You'll have to forgive Leon if he seems just a bit weirded out by this. People generally don't buy him things. But he does appreciate it.

"It's no big, really. Sherry already has hers so..." She rummaged around in the bag for awhile before coming up with a rather small package though. Maybe it only looked small in her hands. When he took it it would probably seem at least a bit bigger. "Hope you like 'em."

It's not like Leon was expecting anything, and he wasn't so superficial that he scoff at a small gift. He turned it over in his hands for a moment, inspecting it, and trying to guess at what it was, then started to unwrap it.

When he finished unwrapping it, he'd find a smooth leather wallet inside. Flipping the wallet open however, he would find his real present. A shining golden Sheriff's badge gleaming up at him. She smirked as he opened it.

"Serious?" She smirked. "Well I guess I'm not so bad at the present getting after all then."

"No wonder you got picked for the mission.... of course now I'm trying to picture you as one of Santa's little helpers."

See that weird little expression that just crossed Kelly's face, Leon? You're never going to know what it means. "Well, if the boot fits, I suppose."

He noticed the expression, and quirked an eyebrow simply to let her know that he caught that.

She raised a brow in return, the corners of her lips curving upward slightly in a knowing sort of half smile. Hopefully, he would never find out about that outfit. She needed to see about getting that camera from Meluly.
