Meet and Greet Part Deux: The Socialing

The new people will find themselves ushered out of Obs Deck, so it can be shot down to the planet again, to pick the crew up. Eventually, the crew members on the mission are brought back up, and the doors open to let the two groups meet.

The newbies are likely not expecting their new crew-mates to come back bearing presents--which some of them are.

[ooc: This time anyone can post in. REMEMBER TO TAG OTHER PEOPLE, THO. This is set after the mission so mission peoples can meet the newbies. Latecomer newbies, if you want, you can just tag your guys into this one to make things easier.]

He looked at it, and chuckled at first before actually laughing a bit. That may or may not have been the first time she actually saw him smile.

"This is nice. Thank you, Kelly."

Her smiled widened and she waved it off. "It's no big. But that's just part one. For some reason I saw this and you came to mind. So I got it." Reaching into the bag again, she pulled out a second parcel. Which, once he opened it would contain a rather familiar looking leather jacket (http://www.mooncostumes.com/image/23937).

"Not sure why. But I thought you'd like it."

He looked at the jacket, staring at it in something near disbelief.

"...I had a jacket that looked just like this, once."

She raised a brow. Well, that was weird. She'd just thought it looked like something he would like. At least she was right about that?

"Serious?" She smirked. "Well I guess I'm not so bad at the present getting after all then."

"Yeah, I lost it during an Op in Spain..." And now one just like it was here. Funny how life works.

"No wonder you got picked for the mission.... of course now I'm trying to picture you as one of Santa's little helpers."

"Spain huh? Must have been some op." She grinned.

See that weird little expression that just crossed Kelly's face, Leon? You're never going to know what it means. "Well, if the boot fits, I suppose."

"That's one way of putting it." It was definitely one hell of an adventure.

He noticed the expression, and quirked an eyebrow simply to let her know that he caught that.

"As long as you enjoyed yourself." Her grin morphed into more of a smirk at that. She always had 'fun' on her missions. Usually. When she wasn't busy getting blown up or burned to a crisp.

She raised a brow in return, the corners of her lips curving upward slightly in a knowing sort of half smile. Hopefully, he would never find out about that outfit. She needed to see about getting that camera from Meluly.
