Meet and Greet Part Deux: The Socialing

The new people will find themselves ushered out of Obs Deck, so it can be shot down to the planet again, to pick the crew up. Eventually, the crew members on the mission are brought back up, and the doors open to let the two groups meet.

The newbies are likely not expecting their new crew-mates to come back bearing presents--which some of them are.

[ooc: This time anyone can post in. REMEMBER TO TAG OTHER PEOPLE, THO. This is set after the mission so mission peoples can meet the newbies. Latecomer newbies, if you want, you can just tag your guys into this one to make things easier.]

"Ah, there you are. Couldn't find you earlier." Static set the bag down and began rifling through it. "Hold on, this'll just take a sec..." Finally, he found it. A small box, wrapped in red paper.

"Now, it isn't much, but, Merry Christmas, Nan." Static smiled.

Nanoha looked at the small box and then up at Static - and back down - her cheeks getting slightly red.

"R-really? You know, you... didn't have to get me a present, right?"

"Yeah, well, what can I say? I'm a giver. I like to give things. Hope ya like it!"

He spotted her a quick thumbs up and then was back into the air, his bag of presents weighting just a little less on his shoulders.

Sure, the gift was a pretty cheap aviation compass, and it'd probably be useless on the ship, but it was the thought that counted, right? The note probably helped save it; 'Never fly so high that you loose sight of the ground, So fast you lose the sound, or so far that you can't turn around.'

It was almost a nonsense line, but it's one that Static had always kept in mind on his flights, and she may need for hers.

She opened it, mouthing the note silently to herself and smiling. "Oh hey, it's great, thanks!" But as she said it, she noticed he was already floating up away from her.
